Lucy was a college student studying to be a secondary English teacher.
Natsu was also a college student training to be an emergency responder (EMT, firefighter, etc).
The two happened to meet at a student orientation when they were in their twenties, having both taken gap years after high school to travel and work.
They end up in the same friend group which consisted of Grey (biology major), Erza (criminal justice major), Juvia (marine biology major), Jellal (business finance major), Gajeel (mechanics major), Levy (elementary education major), Mirajane (business management major ), Laxus (electrical engineering major) , and many more.
The group slowly started becoming more like family to each other, until other feelings started to emerge...
Usually hanging out at the same college bars on the weekends and in between stressful exam weeks, the members slowly start to realize hidden feelings and hormones that lead to impure thoughts and actions.. the alcohol not aiding in that department as well.
Their favorite teachers Makarov, Mavis, and Gildarts try to help them out as much as they can, but what kind of scenarios will these angsty young adults find themselves in? I guess we'll find out.
