Gajeel's POV
I had just gotten home after spending the afternoon with Levy... God was she cute.
She's so tiny, I feel like I might crush her just by standing too close to her...
But that smile... those eyes... the way she talks about her books and passions while being so animated is just... adorable.
I've got it bad...
I walk into the front door to a trail of tissues and I could hear soft sniffles coming from upstairs.
Great... after a perfect day with the perfect girl, I have to deal with an emotional Juvia.
I grab an ice pack from the fridge before heading upstairs to Juvia's bathroom where I found her in the bathtub with red, puffy eyes, and surrounded by tissues.
I didn't say anything at first, just handed her the ice pack and pointed to my eyes to gesture what to do with it. I just sat on the floor with my back facing her until she was ready to talk.
"J-Juvia saw Gr-Gray-sama w-with another w-woman" she finally stuttered out.
So that's what was going on. Man was this bothersome. She'd never acted like this about a guy before, why start now?
"I see. Did ya tell him how ya felt?" I spoke softly so I wouldn't unintentionally turn her sadness into anger... nobody wanted to see that.
"N-no... Juvia w-went to him a-after class i-intending to a-ask h-him to d-dinner b-but s-she w-was t-to l-late" her stuttering was getting worse, meaning another round of tears wouldn't be far behind.
I stood and scooped her up and out of the tissue-filled bathtub and walked her to her room. I placed her on her bed and she latched onto a pillow, still crying.
"Juvia" I spoke again as her crying started to subside from exhaustion, "I know yer disappointed, but it's just a date. Yer way better than some chick from that lame ass school. I'll betcha that date is dull as hell and he'll be beggin' to take ya out instead." I try my best to give her a smile, but she knows smiling just isn't me. Scowls are a lot easier. "Fer now how bout you get some sleep? You'll feel better tomorrow. I'll get ya some water okay?"
I heard a meek 'thank you' before exiting her room to get a giant glass of water and some aspirin... the poor girls going to need it. Sometimes I think her crying fits could mimic a rain storm.

(Skip to Friday the end of the first week)
Juvia had pulled herself together the next couple days and had the drive to continue going to classes. With Gajeel's encouragement, she got through the week and decided not to give up on Gray.
Natsu and Lucy had become super close within the first week and were spending almost as much time together as Lucy and Levy did. Lucy even got as comfortable with him to scold him in public and wack him on the head when he said something stupid.
Gray hadn't had his date with Minerva yet, they decided to wait for the weekend so they wouldn't have to worry about classes the next day.
Right now everyone was sitting at their usual lunch table talking about their weekend plans."I think we should all go back to Fairytail" Lucy suggested.
"Yeah I liked that place!" Natsu chimed in.
"I agree. It was a very welcoming atmosphere" Erza said from across the table.
"I don't have any plans, I might as well join you." Jellal added looking at Erza. They had not had a chance to continue their conversation from the previous weekend and he was hoping to catch her amidst the chaos that was now their friend group.
"I'll join you guys too!" Mira said joyfully, "I actually started a bartending job there this week so it will be nice to go as a patron instead of an employee. I can also introduce you guys to some of my coworkers!"
"I didn't know that you started a job!" Levy said, "have I really been that out of the loop this week?!"
"Well when ya have yer nose in a book all the time you tend to miss what's goin on around ya shrimp" Gajeel teased her.
"I do not!" Levy retorted.
Mira giggled at the exchange, "No Levy, I haven't really told many people..." she glanced at Laxus who was leaning back in his chair and staring at the table looking completely disinterested in what was going on. They hadn't talked much after their night together either... maybe a conversation would have to be had between them as well..."Sorry guys" Gray interrupted, "I've got a date this weekend, but maybe I'll stop by after depending on how it goes."
Juvia's shoulders slumped at the mention of his date. "Juvia will also not be able to make it" she said quietly.
"What? Of ya will! Yer coming with me if I have to go" Gajeel said matter-of-factly. Juvia shot his a quick glare, but conceded when she saw his scowl.
"F-fine" was all she said back.
"Great! Them let's plan on Saturday at 9:00?" Lucy asked the table.
Nods and affirmations resounded the table and Lucy smiled at the sight of her friends.

Jellal's POV
"Erza wait up!" I yelled across the parking lot.
She turned around, her scarlet hair blowing flawlessly in the wind. Her eyes widened slightly when she saw me, and a slight blush dusted her cheeks.
"H-hello Jellal, what can I do for you?" She asked, playing with the hem of her shirt."Erza I want to talk about the other night. Do you remember what happened? What we said?" I asked.
"Y-yes I remember" she was looking down now and I reached over to tilt her chin up so she was looking into my eyes.
"I want clarification Erza. I won't stop fighting for you. I want you to be mine and for me to be yours" at this, her face turned bright red and she stepped backwards unintentionally leaning on the back of her car. I stepped forward to close the gap and her breath caught in her throat.
"J-Jellal I-I don't know what you want me to say..."
"Are we dating Erza? Do I get to call you my girlfriend? You said all these things to me that night and acted like you wanted what I want, but you haven't talked to me since. I just want to know what you're thinking."
"I n-needed time to think" she stuttered. Erza never stutters.
"And?" I say leaning forward a bit to look into her eyes. She didn't have anywhere to run so she locked eyes with me.
"I-I don't know Jellal. I-I think we need more t-time t-to get to kn-know each other again.." she looked away from my face now, probably thinking she disappointed me.
"Okay." I say backing away, "I understand Erza, I just wanted clarification." I start to turn around but stop and turn back. I reach forward and softly touch a strand on her hair. "Just know that I'm always here for you... Scarlet." And with that I turn and walk away, leaving her a blushing mess in the parking lot.
