"Hey."

You cocked your head towards the door of the study room.

You stared blankly at Jimin who cleared his throat before stepping in.

"It's already past midnight and you're still up." He said and walk towards you.

You didn't reply and brought your gaze back to the book that you were holding.

Jimin peeked on the content you're reading, "Types of Monsters?" He read.

"Why are you reading that?" He asked innocently and batted his eyelashes slowly.

You stared at him, finding what he did cute as you looked away.

"Just curious."

Jimin stared at you, "Really?"

You nodded and raised a hand, "So shoo, I'm studying."

He pouted, "You're being a bookworm like Namjoon hyung."

"It's not bad to be a bookworm, especially when you enjoy it."

Silence filled the room and after a while, Jimin spoke.

"When we came back here after a one week vacation, you mentioned that you and Namjoon hyung deciphered the clues together. You were meeting each other in that vacation?"

You nodded, "Yeah." You closed the book because you couldn't focus because of Jimin's questions. "I went to their house."

His eyes widened, a pang of pain hit his being. "Really..." His gaze fell on the floor.

You noticed this and place the book on the table as you faced him with a frown.

"Why?"

He tried his best to avoid your gaze which made you confused even more.

"Why are you avoiding my gaze?" You asked and stepped closer to him as he instinctively stepped back.

"Now you're stepping back like I have a deadly virus."

Jimin felt his back hit the bookshelves as you crossed your arms and stared closely at him.

"What's the problem, Jimin?"

His heart skipped when his name slipped off of your lips.

"I-i..."

"What is it?" You urged him when he trailed off, his gaze landing on your cheeks.

"I'm... Jealous."

"You're jealous?" Jimin nodded like a kid.

"Why are you jealous?"

He frowned, "Are you trying to make me say it?" This time, he had the courage to look in your eyes.

"What's it?" You gave him an innocent stare and tilted your head.

"That I love you."

Silence.

You licked your lips and stepped back, you didn't expect for him to say it without hesitation.

Jimin stared at you and felt relieved when you stepped back because he can really feel his heart beating so fast like it will explode any second.

"Sorry." He mumbled and rubbed his nape.

"No, no. Don't feel sorry for loving someone."

He nodded and smiled, "You don't need to say it back."

You stared at him and smiled back when you didn't saw any hint of bitterness in his eyes, but there was a slight pain.

"We will see."
