9) Confusion

Darryl/BadBoyHalo POV

"What do you mean? So you're a6demon?" I ask.

"Sort of. I guess it falls under the category of possession, but it's not quite that. Vincent still has control over most things."

"So why did you do this?"

"It requires a lot of explaining."

"Wait so that's what was happening when I saw that dark pulse thing?" Vincent asks in his normal voice.

"In simple terms, yes." a6demon replies.

"You know, it really sounds like you are talking to yourself." I interrupt.

The only difference between the two I can hear is the echo whenever a6demon is talking. Other than that he sounds like he's talking to himself.

"Yeah, I guess it does." Vincent agrees.

"Hey, uh, actually you don't have a name in English." a6demon suddenly says, turning his head slightly.

"What?" Vincent and I say in unison.

"I was talking to the other demon." a6demon explains,

"Yes?" It replies.

I turn around to see the demon now standing up. Now I could see that it was about my height, although I'm not too sure. I couldn't make out any features other than a tail and a pair of wings. It was weird, like I couldn't focus on it.

"Are you finished yet?" a6demon asks.

"Almost. But don't rush me."

"Finished with what?" I ask.

"I'm trying to heal you friend. Skeppy, was it?"

"Yeah- wait demons can heal things?"

"No. I'm a special case. I'll tell you later."

He crouches over Zak and puts his hand over his head. I'm guessing to perform magic. I watch the puddle of blood change from a crimson red to a bright green. It stays like that before bursting into bright green sparkles leaving no trace of it ever being there.

"There. He should be fine now. He'll wake up on his own in about 5 minutes or so."

"Thanks for helping!" I say.

"Mhm. a6demon, what are you doing here? Why are you with humans? And why are you calling yourself that?" The demon asks changing the subject.

"I have my reasons. You know, you might like it here too. You should stay here for a bit."

"All right, I guess I'll stay."

While they are talking I sit down in the grass next to Zak. I watch his breathing which was now peaceful and steady. I tap in his shoulder lightly to see if he reacts. He shifts slightly.

"Wha-" He says sitting up and rubbing his eyes.

"Zak!" I say starting to hug him but deciding against it.

"Hey, your up!" The demon says.

"Yeah! I feel fine too!" He says looking up at the demon.

"Woah, I definitely did something wrong." He says with a slight grimace.

"What?"

"Darryl, who is this?" He says looking at me.

Now I see what the demon meant. Where his eyes were supposed to be what was now completely black. He seemed to be seeing fine though.
