My life was good, for the most part. I lived in a town with a beach in an apartment with my new fiance and I had just gotten back into school to finish my master's degree. Getting a job at the university helped to not only pay my bills, but got me a couple of small scholarships on the side. The best part about my new living arrangement was that I was away from my crazy parents and all their demands.

"Are you sure you can't just stay and snuggle for awhile, Carly?" Bryan, my loving fiance, asked while sitting on the couch. "I got your favorite snacks, the blanket is nice and clean, and I'm watching Jojo..."

Fixing my black hair, I gave him a quick peck on the cheek. "Honey, you know I have to go to work to pay for the electricity for that television." My eyes darted to the television. He was starting Stardust Crusaders again. "You know I love that season! It's the best one along with Golden Wind."

"You could call in sick and stay here." He coaxed, rubbing my arm.

"Stop tempting me and let me go to work. If I'm late, then we can't watch the next season without power." Grabbing the car keys, I turned and smiled at him. "See you later, Star Platinum."

"Stay safe Golden Experience." Bryan joked, stuffing popcorn in his mouth.

Shaking my head, I went out to the beat up car that we both shared and started the engine. Once we got married, we promised to buy a better car and maybe move to a larger house to start a family. That would be beautiful, raising our children in a large house a bit close to the city. Driving down the road, I started to daydream about the future and how everything was going to turn out fine.

Just as I was about to make that turn on campus, something heavy hit the car, spinning it out of control. A sharp pain filled my chest as I was sent violently flying into the dashboard. The world was filled with red and glass as my eyes closed for the last time.

Ugh...where am I? Why does everything feel weightless to me?

My head hurts...feels like I got hit by a bus or something...

Opening her eyes, Carly blinked as she noticed she was on the ground. A tree was on her back along with an array of flowers around her. Lifting herself upwards, she rubbed her tanned body to see no cuts or bruises. In fact, the clothes she wore last night were gone, replaced with a long white dress and no shoes. Her hair was pulled in a ponytail.

Where the heck am I and why does it look as if I came out of a fashion magazine? Carly thought, struggling to stand up. Memories flooded her mind from the night before as she burst into tears. No! I can't be dead! I was going to have a happy life with Bryan, start a family, and finally graduate! I can't believe...

Sniffling, she got up from the ground and finally decided to look at the world around her. If she was in heaven, then where were the angels and golden mansions? If she was in hell, where were the fire and brimstone everyone told her about?

Why was the sky a weird combination of purple and orange dotted with stars?

The landscape resembled one of a painting with blue grassy fields, flowers that didn't exist, and a yellow ocean in the distant. Carly couldn't believe her eyes as she walked down the hill. What kind of purgatory had she accidentally wandered in?

As she was trying to figure out where she was, the sound of voices rung in her ears. People, there were people close to the beach! Maybe they could help her figure out where she was and how to get back to normal. Running down the hill, Carly wondered what kind of people would live in a bizarre world. The black sand burned her feet, but she was determined to find the source of those voices.

"Check this out Stone Free, these little guys are called crabs." A deep voice said excitedly.

"I know what a crab is dad. Joylene's dad studied marine biology and wouldn't shut up about it." A young female's voice replied, sounding bored.

"ORA! There's just no surprising you then."

Carly stopped in her tracks, hearing these familiar voices coming from the tide pool areas. Hiding behind some rocks, she peered over to see two figures sitting on some rocks nearby. To her shock, she knew who they were and thought she was dreaming.

One was a humanoid resembling a tall, well-built man. Its skin was a hue between purple, blue, green, and small bits of gold. Dark, long flowing hair trailed behind it, with a darker shade above its eyes and on the bridge of its nose, blurring the distinction between its hair and head. The spaces under its eyes and on its cheeks and chin were a darker color and divided clearly from the space around its nose and mouth. It wore a cap on its chin, and a metallic headband in three pieces, the central piece of which was shaped as a vertical ellipse. It wore an all white outfit, which consisted of a short, circular scarf, shoulder pads with a spiral design, long gloves with studs on the back, knee and elbow guards, a loincloth, and knee high boots.

The other one was another humanoid who was built like a young woman who wore a pair of sunglasses. Its body was cyan and had four blade-like protrusions run over its head from the top of the jaw to the back of its neck, bordering the sides of both eyes. Cones truncated at a length of one-third the width of its head protrudes from the region of the ears. It wears elliptical shoulder pads with a snakeskin pattern, and hexagonal knee pads. Its forehead, neck, arms, and the area from its midriff to the top of its feet bear small, evenly spaced studs/bumps.

No way...that's Star Platinum and Stone Free! What are Jotaro's and Jolyne's stands doing here? Did I fall into the Jojo Bizarre Adventure universe or something? Carly slunk down behind the rocks, her eyes widen. What's going on, why is this happening, where am I?

The smashing of rocks startled a scream out of her as the looming figure of Star Platinum stood over her. She backed away in fright, her heart would've been beating hard if she had it. Star stared down at her with a look of shock as Stone came up behind him.

"What's going-is that a human?" She asked, surprised by Carly's appearance. "How did a human get into the Stand dimension?"

"I don't know, but I'm about to find out why." Star glared down at Carly, making her shake harder. "Human, how did you get here? Did your stand send you here? What are your intentions?"

All the interrogation questions made Carly's mind finally break. Spots danced in her eyes as she passed out, surprising Star Platinum and Stone Free. The blue humanoid went over towards Carly and checked her pulse.

"I think you killed her with those questions dad. I don't feel a pulse."
