"Alexxxxxxxx" I whined

"Yes Jack?" Alex replied smiling

"Can we go to the fair?" I asked childishly

"When?" He asked glancing at his watch

"Now! It's on till midnight" I said excitedly, bouncing in my seat

"By its coldddddddd" Alex complained

"Pleaseeeeeeeee" I said, giving him my famous puppy dog face

"Fine" he grumbled

"YAYAYAY! I love you Alex" I squealed like a little kid at Christmas

"Yeah what ever," he chuckled "get your coat"

I ran to the back of the bus and retrieved my coat

"You ready?" I asked, running back to Alex

"Yes, let's go you big child" Alex chuckled walking out the door"

I giggled happily and skipped out the door, Alex was right, the minute I got out side the cold air rushed at me and froze my face

"Oh fuck" I said pulling my coat tighter around me

"Told you" Alex laughed

"I don't care! I wanna goooooooo!" I shouted running down the path towards the docks were the fair was being held.

"Wait the fuck up!" Alex shouted after me but I was so close I just kept running.

Once I reached the gates I slowed down and waited for Alex

"Come on slow poke" I whined growing impatient

"Shut up! You run to fast!" Alex laughed

He finally caught up with me and we walked into the fair grounds

"Can we go on the ghost train?" I asked giving off my best puppy dog face

"But the ghost train is so boring" Alex whined

"Yeah which is why we should do it first" I retorted and he smiled big

"Come on then" he laughed and I bounced with happiness

"Yay!" I cheered and grabbed Alex's hand, together we ran towards the ghost train.

"Two please" I asked the red headed girl

"Okay there are two up front" she smiled kingly and gave me the tickets, in return I gave her the money.

I got on first and Alex scooted next to me

"I don't know why you love this ride so much" Alex said honestly

"Because it makes me feel like I'm five years old" I said

"You always act like your five years old" Alex chuckled

"Yeah but this makes me FEEL five" I said laughing

"If you say so" he laughed and the ride began

Alex was right, this ride was the most boring thing ever. the witches weren't scary the clown made me laugh and the butler without a head? Pffff please. But right towards the end a screaming ghost came down from the ceiling and oh my god I think I had a heart attach. I grabbed hold of Alex's jacket and his my face in it.

Alex broke out in laughter and I know I blushed in embarrassment

"Ahh don't worry Jack, I'll protect you" Alex said in a mocking voice

"No fair! That caught me off guard" I whined

"Don't worry, even I jumped" he admitted

"I feel better now" I laughed and the ride came to an end

"You choose next" I said getting off and saying good bye to the ride controller

"Ummmm Ferris wheel!" He laughed and I cringed. I don't want to tell him this but I'm scared shitless of heights, I can't take it

"Jack?" Alex asked snapping his fingers and snapping me out of my day dream

"Oh uh yeah, yeah that sounds great!" I said faking excitement, Alex smiled at me and we walked to the Ferris wheel. I looked up at it and it was the tallest one I've ever seen. figures.

"You okay Jack?" Alex asked

"Uhh yeah, yeah I'm good" I lied

"Ok well lets go" he smiled, taking my hand and running towards the old man working it

"Hey boys" he smiled

"Hiiiiiii" Alex said, he was practically jumping with excitement

"Here you go" I smiled handing him the money

"Thank you, please don't shake the cart at all and please don't spit on the people below" the old mine smirked as he said the last part.

"I think I'm gonna put my hood up" Alex laughed

"Okay please use these seat belts and raise your arms" he said putting the handle bar over me and Alex.

"Enjoy the ride" he said as he pulled the leaver to make us move.

There was practically no one here so we didn't wait for others to come.

"Wow. we're really high up" I said scared, holding Alex even tighter then what I already had been

"Jack? Are you? Are you scared of heights?" Alex asked

"Ye-yeah" I admitted

"Ahhh don't worry honey, I'll take care of you" he said throwing a protecting arm around my body

"Honey?" I asked with a slight chuckle

"Yeah" he laughed kidding the top if my forehead

I smiled and leaned into him, resting my head in the crook of his neck and smiled. Best. Fair. Ever.
