if someone asked kim seokjin, he would say that nothing excited him more than bringing surprises to his little family. or perhaps, throwing a few pranks or jokes around, too. he hated being left alone, so he always took initiative to plan with his mastermind ability. such a daring omega that he was, his mate always said.

today was no different. there he stood in front of namjoon's school building, expression determined to indulge himself.

today was his little shit of brother-in-law's official first day and he couldn't help but wanting to spectate his performance. he wanted to surprise everyone with his homemade, perfect cooking and hang out for a while. namjoon had asked him to try being a nutritionist in this school so perhaps it was also the perfect time to consider checking the place.

seokjin didn't come to the school often, he could bet few people actually knew who he was. that was why he was not surprised when he stumbled upon the administration room, a beta man tried to stop him and ask his purpose for coming.

"ah, I'm a relative of kim namjoon," seokjin said, giddy. "could you ring him?"

"is it very urgent, sir? Mr. Kim is currently in a meeting," said the man, clearly suspicious with seokjin.

"well, uh, I guess not," seokjin contemplated, what he hated the most was getting in the middle of his husband's work and distracting him. "could you ring him later when the meeting is done, please?"

"alright, sir, anything you need? you can sit here while waiting," the man said, gesturing his hand to the waiting room's sofas.

"no, it's fine," seokjin smiled sweetly, noticing the beta man silently swooned. "actually, can you ring Mr. Jeon instead? I'm bringing food," he pointed the beta his bag of Tupperware stuffed with delicious food.

"Mr. jeon jeongguk?" the beta checked the teachers' schedule. "I'm afraid he is currently teaching class 3-B. the class will finish within 30 minutes, sir."

"Ah, nice timing," seokjin cheered, he wanted to see jeongguk's teaching so bad. he could ask taehyung to accompany him, maybe tease the alpha. "then you can bring me to his spouse!"

the beta was silent. "I'm sorry? his spouse?"

"eh?? yeah, jeongguk's m--"

"jinnie hyung!!!" suddenly seokjin heard someone squeaked his name, very familiarly, and soon a body not softly collided with his. "jin hyung, what--"

"taetae!" seokjin hugged his little brother tightly, ignorant to taehyung's growing blush and distress.

"what are you doing here? it's still not the time the school finishes."

"well, yeah," seokjin nonchalantly said, and by now taehyung was immune to his brother's mischiefs. "I'm bringing food, let's see your hubby!"

"eh? hubby?" the omega brothers hadn't even knowledge the beta's all along watching that they startled hard when the man took their attention. no, no one was supposed to know.

"jin hyung, nooooo," taehyung bit his lips, distress pheromones almost out in haste. "I-I, no, h-he meant buddy, Mr. yang, you misheard it!"

"buddy?" the beta man nodded in understanding. "ah, I see."

"yeah, seokjin hyung is my elder brother, I'll handle him from now," ignoring his brother's piercing, questioning stare, taehyung started to pull seokjin's arm. "I'm sorry for the inconvenience!" he bowed the pulled his brother along.
