Chapter 3

"The groom has arrived"

Ranveer came .
He was looked like an Arabian Prince .
He came and sat beside Lakshmi.

The priest did all the things done at an Indian wedding.

Ranveer put the wedding necklace on her .He then took some vermilion and put it on her head.

They were now married.
It was done . Lakshmi thought.

They were ready to leave for the Singh mansion.Indian families live together .So Lakshmi and Ranveer would be staying at their families mansion.

"No no son-in-law you're eager to leave aren't you.You have to follow the tradition."

"Tradition?"

"Yes .You have to carry Lakshmi "

Lakshmi almost choked .She looked at him.

"You don't have t---"

She was cut of by Ranveer as he picked her up into his strong arms .

Everyone clapped .

"Ok now you may go "
Ranveer carried Lakshmi to their car .
She fitted perfectly in his arms .
Lakshmi was so close she could feel his heartbeat.She gulped.
If she didn't know him she would have fallen in love with him.

When no one was insight Ranveer dropped her.

"Ouch .Hey what's your problem"

"Sorry my hands slipped.Get in "

She got into the passenger seat .

The whole ride was quiet .
They arrived at the mansion.

"My daughter in law has arrived."
The whole family was looking at the couple .

"Smile Lakshmi"

She smiled as everyone came to look at them and take pictures.

When entering the house she did all the procedures and kicked the rice pot.

Ranveer's mom came and did her plate thing too .
Ranveer had already stormed off to his room.

"This is your room Lakshmi "

A nice girl who looked like Ranveer said.

"Thanks .uum what's your name."

"I'm Rano.Ranveers sister "

"Nice to meet you"

She smiled then left.

Lakshmi gulped before knocking .
No answer she went inside .

No one was there.

The room was really big .Twice the one she had before.

There was a king sized bed decorated with roses .

She sat on the bed.
Just then Ranveer came from the bathroom wrapped in only a towel .

Lakshmi screamed.

"Aaaaaaah ."
She covered her eyes then opened them .

"Why are you naked "

"Hello this is my room "

She tried hard not to look at his perfect abdomen .He had a six pack that was just to die for.

She told turned around.

"Well then it's our room now and get dressed"

"Don't pretend as if you don't like what you see"

"Off ive seen better"

"Really were on TV"

"Just get dressed "

"I'm already done"

She turned around and saw him .

He was now in a black T-shirt and grey trouser.

He went to the bed and slept.

Lakshmi was just standing there.

"Uum l don't want to ruin your beauty sleep but we're do l sleep "

Ranveer opened 1 eye .

He stood up walked to his closet and took out two blankets.

"Here take these "

"I'm not sleeping on the first floor"

"Well suite yourself "

Lakshmi was shocked .

"Can't you just be like a normal guy .Offer the bed "

"Haha . You mean my bed .Noo .Just sleep on the couch "

"You are a jerk "

"Wait you don't think I'm going to ask you to sleep on the bed "

"Gross no ."

"Phew .Sleep .Some of us have to get up early tomorrow"

He closed his eyes and began snoring lightly.

Lakshmi looked around the room.

She went to the bathroom .
There was a huge tub and a shower .
The bathrooms you see on TV .

She took off her jewellery then bathed .
She went and looked into the closet .
She didn't pack any clothes .
It was filled with Ranveer's suits and shirts.
She opened the other one .There were Saris .Brand new Saris.
And the night wear .
It was just transparent dresses that were too short .

At last she wore a pink dress that was made from lace .It was too short showing her legs .

She looked at Ranveer who was deep in his dreams and sighed.

She slept on the couch.
