Chaeyoung walked through the empty streets, the passing breeze making her shiver. It was early morning, and a gloomy morning too. The sky was gray and dull. She turned a corner and came face to face with a small white building. The sight of it always made her a but happier. She grabbed the door handle only to find it already unlocked. She pushed opened the door. The jingling of the bell indicated that someone was coming in. It was a nice addition added by Taehyung. She spotted Sooyoung rearranging the cups on the wooden shelf.

"You're late." Sooyoung stated without turning around.

"Well good morning to you too." Chaeyoung grumbled. She walked behind the counter and took off her coat, hanging it on a golden hook near the 'staff only' door. Grabbing her apron on the hook next to it, Chaeyoung tied it around her waist and stretched. Mornings always made her tired and lazy. The only thing that kept her awake was the fact that Sooyoung would flay er alive if she fell asleep on the job.

The bell once again made a jingling sound and in walked Taehyung. He had messy bed hair and was out of breath, which was enough evidence for Chaeyoung that he just woke and and sped over to the shop. "Sorry...I'm...late..." Taehyung said between gulps of air.

Sooyoung tsked. "Am I the only one that actually wakes on time everyday?"

"Yes, because you're crazy." Taehyung said while trotting over to the counter after catching his breath. "Who in the world wakes up at 5am everyday?"

The boy took off his poofy coat, not noticing Sooyoung's intense glare. Chaeyoung sighed to herself. Just another ordinary day at the tea shop, am I right? "Chaeyoung, can you put the cakes on the counter?" Sooyoung asked.

"Yeah, sure." Chaeyoung walked to the 'staff only' room, where they store the cakes, scones, sweets, savory dishes and any dish you would find at your local tea shop. They were all handmade, by Sooyoung of course, just yesterday so they were still fresh. All Chaeyoung needed to do was decorate and it would be ready for customers.

Chaeyoung really loved her job. This was her shop after all, she opened it for her grandparents. Her grandmother loved having tea, and not because she was British, but because that was a time when all members of the family would gather around and have some quality time together. It was her grandfathers idea to start a tea shop, and Chaeyoung had promised him she'd fulfill his dream after he passed away. Sadly, her grandmother didn't get a chance to see her do it. But Chaeyoung didn't quit, and continued running Rose Tea.

       Of course, it wasn't easy.

Chaeyoung was very lucky to have friends like Sooyoung and Taehyung. They agreed to help her with the shop for free, and Chaeyoung was really grateful for that. But after being opened for 3 years, and being the only tea shop in the neighborhood, Rose Tea did gradually attract many customers. And that was great but it also meant more work in store. The three of them couldn't possibly fun a tea shop full time. They needed more workers.

Chaeyoung brought the scones out and placed them on the counter. Sooyoung was brewing the tea and Taehyung was cleaning up the tables. Chaeyoung turned towards them. "Hey guys?"

       They all looked at her.

"Tomorrow is our 3rd anniversary," Chaeyoung said, "and I have a great idea to celebrate it."

"What did you have in mind?" Taehyung said.

"How about we get a new manager?" Chaeyoung asked. "You know, there's lot's of students out there looking for a part-time job and such, how about we let them run this shop for a while?"

"Uh no." Sooyoung said almost immediately. "Sorry Chae, but that sounds like a horrible plan. They could ruin the reputation of our shop."

"That won't happen because you'll be there to look after them." Chaeyoung said happily.

       "Wait, what-"

"Right, so I guess that settles it. We'll still be working, but the students will be doing most of the work." Chaeyoung said. And to her surprise, no one argued back.

"Sure, sounds fun to me." Taehyung grinned.

"Of course it does." Sooyoung grumbled. "One thing Chaeyoung. I'm not here for babysitting, so please don't take in 13 year olds."

"Yeah, yeah, I know." Chaeyoung waved her hand absentmindedly. "Now let's go shamelessly promote our shop!"

"Now let's go shamelessly promote our shop!"
