"Now what? How are we gonna find him?"

"Exactly. I don't even know his name!" Josie cried.

"So, what do we do?" Simon shrugged.

I looked around for a clue after we got up to the second floor. There stood a familiar guy.

"Guys!" I whisper-shouted at Simon and Josie as I moved them to a corner.

"This guy is his best friend. The other day, I saw them having lunch together," I informed.

"Simon, go ask him," Josie shook Simon's arms.

"Ask him what?"

"Ask him what's his best friend's name," Josie replied.

"You mean, the guy you're looking for?"

We nodded and ran away to the staircase to hide and watch them speak.

...

"His name is Kendrick," Simon let us know after he came back.

"Wait! I think I saw this name in the year book!" Josie jumped.

"Wow. Okay?"

"So, he's in class twelve right now," Josie figured.

So on, three of us discussed about Kendrick. We finally set ourselves free from he hiding. As I walked across to the other side of the floor, I noticed a guy I used to see when I was younger. I've seen him a couple times before, but never thought he'd really grab my attention this time.

...

"Are you going to have lunch alone?"

"Well, dunno really. Adison has extra class today, so probably I'll need to have lunch alone," Kendrick said as he without looking at her.

"Um, do you mind if I join?" Nancy asked.

"You sure?" Kendrick finally turned his head towards her with a frown.

Nancy shrugged, followed by a nod. Both of them continued to walk downstairs.

Kendrick looked around for us as he walked to the cafeteria. Little did he know that our spy skills are much more advanced than his intelligence. He had absolutely no clue to guess our presence. As soon as he took his seat at the usual table, three of us, Arlin, Josie and I got down from the staircase and pretended to go to the cafeteria as if we've got no intentions to even lay an eye on anybody. We created a funny gossip to boost up the drama.

Nancy was trying to be all lovey dovey around Kendrick which seemed to make their conversation pretty awkward since Kendrick wasn't laughing along with her all the time, while she laughed shamelessly through out their conversations. She really does consider herself too special around him. Honestly, it was disgusting how she acted around him.

No wonder, Josie already started spitting hate comments on Nancy.

...

Arlin was called to have a talk with one of our subject teachers regarding class schedules. On her way, she met the guy I saw the other day. Both of them ignored each other and passed by one another.

"Ay, Robert. Won't you attend accounting class?" his friend asked.

"No, I'll skip. Don't tell the teacher. I've got some business," Robert replied. Arlin heard the conversation, but let it out since it had nothing to do with her.

...

"Life used to be full of new people, wasn't it?"
