Arlin has her counselor's meeting today. It means, it's just going to be Josie and me roaming around in the lunch break. Abby and Simon are absent today and Presley does not have any tasks with the teacher. So here we go a trio again.

...

"Juniors are just so immature to follow us like this. I just hope they don't appear while I'm here"

"Haha, don't say that. They're your admirers. You know, not everyone is admired by the people around them. Appreciate it," Raymon explained.

Kendrick looked down at his food tray and mixed the vegetables into the rice.

"By the way, don't you talk to Adison anymore?" Raymon inquired with curiousity.

"We do, but not much. He always has classes, so I kinda get bored around him at the end," Kendrick pursed his lips.

Raymon raised his brow as he looked away.

"You like hanging out with Nancy, don't you?" Raymon pierced a look into Kendrick's eyes.

Kendrick, not being able to realize Raymon's intentions, replied, "Yeah, she's a nice person to have around. Plus, she enjoys being around me too. So, I think kinda works."

Raymon licked his lips as he nodded, "Sure thing."

...

"I know right! He's such a crappy person! I didn't like him at the first sight. How mannerless," Presley scoffed.

"This planet would have been a better place if people like these didn't even exist," I stated.

"Hush! I found him," Josie whisper-shouted.

"Oh my god, what?! That guy is Raymon," Presley pointed as she jumped at his sight. Her expression was full of despise.

"Calm down," I let out a laugh.

...

"Hey Kendrick. My class is over. Wanna go sit upstairs?"

"Uh, well actually I was having lunch with Raymon. He just got up to bring water. Guess I'll walk with you some other day," Kendrick smiled guiltily.

Adison's grew upset about the fact that his best friend chose someone else over him. Nevertheless, he smiled at Kendrick, "No it's okay. I'll go then. Bye."

"Was that Adison?" Raymon asked as he placed the bottle of cold water on the table and pulled his chair forward to sit comfortably.

Kendrick nodded.

"What did he say?"

"Nothing in particular," Kendrick shrugged, taking a sip from the water bottle.

...

Josie, Presley and I decided to go upstairs since the mystery prince started changing places as soon as he sensed our presence around him. He entered Arlin's classroom.

What? We were confused.

I decided to peek through the glass in attached to the door. We found a few other grade twelve students inside and our Literature teacher too.

"Apparently, they're having Literature class inside," I informed Josie and Presley. I moved away from the classroom door and stood, leaning against the grills of the balcony.

"There comes he," Presley scorned with an eye-roll. Raymon just got up from the stairs to have us face to face. Seemed as if he had second thoughts of turning back, but he stood there, waiting for Kendrick's class to end.

Last time, Raymon was the one to glare at Presley, now it's totally the opposite. Presley gave him disgusted looks for the entire time he was standing.

"Nora, go look inside one more time," Josie pleaded. I checked if Raymon was looking our way. Thank god he was busy watching the football match downstairs in the court.

I took a side peek inside the room. "Why don't they even turn on the lights?" I thought. Everyone was just sitting idle, without a single pen or paper. Was this even a class at the first place?

"Excuse me," a voice cut me off from my thoughts. I immediately turned around to look.

Damn. It was that guy. "Sorry," I apologized and slid away from my place, side.wards.

...

After around ten to fifteen minutes, the Literature class was over. Students started to exit the room one by one. Kendrick was the last person to get out. That is when Josie and Kendrick had a really awkward eye contact. They were about to bump into one another when Kendrick faced side wards to walk to Raymon.

Josie, now, was shaking. Presley and I teased her for the rest of the lunch break.
