Kairi woke up to sunlight hitting his eyes that came through his open curtains. He grumbled knowing exactly who came into his room to open them.
He got up from his bed, his back a little sore from the way he slept and stumbled over to his sister's room, slamming the door open before he started yelling cuss words at the startled girl's face.
"Didn't I tell you to stop opening my damn curtains?" Kairi groaned. He looked at his little sister, Maiya, who was giggling at his appearance.
"You look handsome."
"Shut up." Kairi walked over to his sister's bed and plopped down beside her causing her to bounce up a little from him using all his weight. He laughs loudly as she smacks him on the head.
"What time is it?"
"5:50."
"Then why are you dressed?"
"Because it's 6:30." Kairi jolted up before he flipped his sister off, dashing out of her room and to his while loud giggles followed behind him. He turned around trying to force the door shut while his sister tried to force her way in. After 30 more seconds of fighting for whosever win—Maiya gave in and let go making Kairi stumble as the door slammed shut.
"Hurry up! You have 15 minutes before the bus comes!" Maiya yelled. Kairi heard her giggle before she ran off to the direction of her room.
"Ugh..." Kairi groaned. The short boy realized how much time he waisted while he hurriedly brushed his teeth and threw some clothes on. His eyes flickered over to the digital clock that sat next to his bed on a drawer. Oh shit.
He groaned for what seemed like the 80th time today while sitting himself on his bed.
"I'll just drive you Maiya." He shouted, hoping his sister would hear him.
"What-" Kairi waited for his sister to continue after she went quiet. He then heard loud thumbs hit against the floor that seem to be headed for his doorway.
"Why? The bus is about to come-" She stopped, examining the brunette haired boy's every feature before fake gaging dramatically as she stood in the doorway.
"Oh my gosh you look like trash."
"Ugh, thanks for reminding me."
"That's what I'm here for!" Kairi turned his head to glare at his sister. She laughed while she made her way over to plop down on his bed beside him.
"Are you sick?"
"No."
"Mattia?" The brunette haired boy shot up looking up at his sister's face in shock. She giggled at him as well as resting her hand on his shoulder.
"Don't act like you didn't think I knew. I know you're crushing on him." Kairi's face flushed a pink tint. He hit his sister on the arm and pushed himself back down onto the bed in a curled up position.
Yeah I still like him. Wait.
Kairi sat up and looked at his sister in shock once again. She let out a whiny sigh dramatically.
