Idea number one is where Speed is kidnapped when he went to town for some seeds(Crystal, and Flare are still eevees while Speed already evolved)and is forced to kill in an arena to be released. He needs to kill 2,500 mon to go free and is there for 3 years, as his siblings think he's dead. He starts to go insane from killing and he started to even enjoy it. At about 2,000 kills he is rescued from there and 8s brought back home, but his fur is stained red from his opponents blood. He doesn't have the healing factor and is covered in scars, being nicknamed "The Crimson Flash".
