"Did you bring some sweets for me?" Constance Clearwater whispered to her best friend, Ludovica Lucas. Her best friend rolled her eyes, taking a small box out of her bag, handing it to Constance who had a big smile on her lips. "It really would have been great if you made sweets out of Japanese ingredients!" Constance looked Ludo pointedly who shoved the box into Contance's hands.

"Geez, if you wanted me to make sweets, you should have told me." Ludovica said with sarcasm, though, she knew Constance has always loved her sweets. She always praised Ludo for whatever sweets she made—and Constance didn't understand why Ludovica wasted her opportunity to go to a regular school, however she was thankful that she met Ludovica because without her Constance wouldn't know where she'd be.

Ludovica may have a cold and blunt demeanour around everyone, but it also helped Constance even if Ludo's comments were harsh she didn't sugarcoat anything and slapped her back to reality every time. "How was Japan, anyway?" Constance asked her best friend, both of them sat next to each other in class waiting for their teacher.

"Nothing special," Ludovica casually replied, resting her chin on her arm as she looked at Constance doodling on her notes.

"Really? Have you found a cute guy?" Constance asked Ludo, this time wiggling her eyebrows. They were quite an odd pair—one would say. Constance was always bubbly and happy, though because of her personality not everyone wanted to be around her; others would just think of her as a loud person. Ludovica on the other hand was the opposite, she was just quiet and unwelcoming; even if their school was prestigious and so were the students, no one would dare go near Ludovica. It was just that they always have had the mindset of her having a higher standard even if she was best friends with Constance Clearwater.

Ludovica Lucas was quite popular amongst her peers, but that was just because of her cousin, Henri Lucas. It always made her want to roll her eyes. Even if people looked up to him, or even if he is known as a genius—she didn't really want to be associated by him throughout her school. There were countless of times when she thought it would be better for her to attend St. Marie instead, because it sounded easier. Constance Clearwater, as well, was semi-popular—she was known but that's just because her older sister was popular. However, neither Ludo or Constance cared about the popularity. Both of them simply enjoys each other's company and that was just it—no one else.

"No, I haven't, besides I didn't have time to find some cute guys." Ludovica rolled her eyes at her best friend who was giggling next to her.

"Are you sure? I mean just imagine meeting someone from St. Marie in Japan! What about that Rick guy? The Italian one?" Constance said in a hushed tone, her excitement clear in her tone and eyes. Ludovica sighed heavily, slightly shaking her head sidewards. She lost count as to how many times she had to tell Constance that she wasn't interested in anyone. "Hey, both of you are Italian." Constance said in realisation causing Ludo to just mentally slap herself.

Ludovica Lucas' mother was Italian whilst her father was French—her mother was part of the Lucas family by marriage. Therefore, Ludo was part French and Italian. "Rick and I are just friends," Ludovica told her best friend slowly, putting emphasis on every word she said.

"Ah~ I can't wait until I get home and eat all of these!" Constance sighed dreamily at the box, a hum leaving Ludo's mouth as they waited for their teacher to start the class.

"Une.. deux.. trois.." Ludovica was constantly doing each steps as her teacher counted, repeatedly. School finished for her and she had her ballet class. Her teacher was observing her whilst counting in a lively tone. "Smile, Ludo! Straighten your posture as well!" Her teacher exclaimed, Ludo forced a smile, straightening her back and in return her teacher nodded her head rhythmically with her counting.

Ballet helped her focus and kept her in track. It was calming for her since once she starts dancing she'd forget all her problems. It was like baking, except she focused more onto dancing—having ballet taking over majority of her time whilst baking when she was free that was why she mostly sketches.

This time Ludo didn't seem to be on time with the dance and her teacher sighed, a hint of disappointment was heard causing Ludovica to stop on her tracks. "Is there anything on your mind, Ludo?" Madame Bourgoin asked Ludo, who usually wasn't distracted in her practices.

"I'll be alright, Madame Bourgoin. I just feel a little bit iffy right now. I haven't practiced when I was in Japan." Ludo answered, she had a lot in mind and that was what made her unfocused in her practice. It was unlike her but Madame Bourgoin let it pass.

"Okay, let's begin. Une.. deux.. trois!" Madame Bourgoin said with a smile on her face as she clapped rhythmically, Ludo did what was expected of her and danced. She was like those ballerina figurines stuck in those music boxes, every move she made was just perfect.

It was like baking—she thought, there were no unnecessary movements when she baked it was as though she already knew what she'd do. That was what always helped her, it helped her stay focused. One mistake would make her lose track, that was an error she had made a long time ago.
