Our College Life

Chapter 2

Marinette POV
A bit before everyone was to arrive at the park for our last goodbyes, I went ahead and enjoyed Paris before my leave tomorrow. I usually found inspiration in the park for my deigns, so I opted to bring my sketchbook in case I got any of those spurts of imagination. As I sat on one of the benches of the park, I closed my eyes and envisioned college life and everything I would experience. I also thought of the things I would miss from home. The smells from the bakery every morning, the balcony where I would go to think on life, this park itself. Soon, I sensed another presence and opened my eyes to see Adrien standing there, staring.
"Hi Adrien." I greeted him.
"Hey Marinette." He greeted me back.
" I came early because I had a feeling you would be here and I wanted to talk to you about something. "

Adrian POV
As I arrived at the park, I saw Marinette on the far side, eyes closed, enjoying the quiet peace of the park. I hated to interrupt her, so I walked over and watched her. Her skin was pearly and smooth, lips were nice and fresh. Hair was nearly arranged. Clothes wonderfully put together. Her delicate fingers slightly grasping her much used sketchbook in which held the many designs she envisioned of making a reality one day. As I watched her, her eyes fluttered open seemingly aware of the presence of another person.
"Hi Adrien." She greeted me, giving me that sweet smile.
"Hey Marinette." I greeted her back. Here was the time to tell her. I needed to tell her that I too was leaving tomorrow for college.
"I came early because I had a feeling you would be here and I wanted to talk to you about something." I told her.
"Sure. Hit me." She told me with willingness to hear what I had to say.
I went over and took a seat next to her, as I did, her eyes showed some concern, seeing that this might be a serious thing.
"The thing is" i started " I too am going to a college in London to study business and fashion arts. And I'm leaving tomorrow. "
"Wow." Said Marinette " that's quite a coincidence. What time is your flight? " she asked.
I responded saying that it was at 12:00pm
"Oh my gosh." Said marinette as she brought her hand to cover her mouth. " we are on the same fight im sure. Mine leaves at 12:00 as well! "
I got excited and eager.
"What airline?"
" I think it's Novice Airlines. "
I leaned back and put my hand over my mouth.
"We are on the same flight."
Marinette turned towards me wide eyed.
"No way!! We should totally sit together!"
" Ok" I said in agreement.
At that moment, Alya and Nino walked up. Marinette was so excited and so was I. I'm sure they could tell. Thats when Alya asked us why we seemed so excited.
"Alya! Me and Adrien are on the same flight tomorrow!"
Alya and Nino looked over at me and I nodded.
"I was going to tell you guys that I too am leaving tomorrow to college."
" Wow dude. " said Nino "that's really cool."
As we all said out goodbyes to one another, we all promised that we would come home for the holidays and once every month to meet and catch up. And that was that. I was going to London tomorrow on the same flight as Marinette.
