*First day of School*

"See you at Lunch Perce!" called Annabeth as she walked to her class. She had architecture first whereas I had Marine Biology. Each class lasted 2 hours then we were to go to lunch. Knowing my luck, there wouldn't be a lunch, just me and Annie fighting a few monsters. But hey! Today might be my lucky day, but that was doubtful. The bell rang and I walked to the very back. Surprisingly, every seat was taken except the two at the back. The teacher- Mrs. Dodds, she called herself, it sounded familiar but I couldn't remember where from- started telling us her name and what to expect, I tried to listen but my ADHD went off the rails. Right as the teacher started talking about the trips we were to take that year, the door flew open and in rushed... I don't know who. It seemed like a girl, she was wearing black leggings and a blue hoodie with the hood covering her face. The teacher seemed a bit peeved and asked

"Are you Alexandra?"

"It's just Allie" the girl- Allie- replied.

Cool, I thought to myself, another person who hates their full name. Allie turned and was about to head to the open seat next to me when Mrs. Dodds stopped her.

"Alexandra, why are you late." said the red-haired teacher.

"I said my name's Allie, and I asked you to call me as such." stated Allie "As for why I am late, trouble caught up to me."

"What kinds of trouble, Alexandra?" said Mrs. Dodds with a smile.

At that, Allie immediately straightened.

"Ones I will not share with the class, perhaps during lunch? " the girl said, her back still towards me.

"Very well." Mrs. Dodds said, her smile growing. "Take a seat, Alexandra, and take off your hood, it's against the rules."

Allie sighed as she removed her hood and long locks of raven hair fell out, it looked like the female equivalent to mine. She turned towards me and I gasped as she froze and stared at me with sea green eyes identical to mine.

*That morning*

I hopped out of the shower and dried myself off with a towel. "Today's going to be fun." I thought to myself, "one more school to get kicked out of." I walked to my closet and pulled out doc martens, a black skirt, a light pink tube top and a leather jacket. I grabbed my maroon backpack filled with all the needed school supplies and shoved in leggings and a blue hoodie. Knowing my luck, there will be a monster attack on my way the school.

*Time skip to arriving at school*

How about that? She was right! Goode was only 3 miles away and after I completed the first mile, two empousa decided to test they're luck. Luckily for me it only took 10 minutes to kill them, but unluckily school had started a minute before I killed them. I ran the rest of the way, stopping in a starbucks to change clothes and clean off my docs. And now I'm here, about to go into my first class, marine biology. Of course I chose this as my "science" I told you I loved the ocean so it makes sense. I threw up my hood, tucked my hair into my back and strolled into class.

I could immediately tell something was off in the class, and not just the fact that I was 10 minutes late. If anything it was probably the teacher as I turned to face her, we locked eyes, she had an evil glint, but I just brushed it off. I looked at her desk. "Mrs. Dodds" said a plate sitting on said desk.

"Are you Alexandra?" asked Mrs. Dodds.

"It's just Allie." I told her. I turned to find an open seat when Dodds reached out and stopped me.

"Alexandra, why are you late." said the red-haired teacher. Alright, now she's getting suspicious.

"I said my name's Allie, and I asked you to call me as such." I stated "As for why I am late, trouble caught up to me."

"What kinds of trouble, Alexandra?" replied Mrs. Dodds with a smirk. With that I immediately straightened, she was definitely a monster. But in school? Really? Then again just my luck. If I had to guess, she was most likely a fury, as to why she was here confused me. Aren't they ordered by Hades. Either way I couldn't let everyone else get hurt.

"Ones I will not share with the class, perhaps during lunch? " I replied, hoping to keep damages at a minimum.

"Very well." Mrs. Dodds said, her smile growing. "Take a seat, Alexandra, and take off your hood, it's against the rules."

I sighed, and took off my hood, silently praying for there to be no gold dust left. "Hopefully it dissolved by now." I thought to myself. I heard a small chuckle and immediately thought it the gold was still there but as I turned to find and glare at the kid who chuckled, I instead found sea green eyes identical to mine belonging to a guy who looked like the male version of myself, and with that I froze as he gasped.
