Chapter 10

So we were called in to extract ghosts from this mansion close to town. But the best part is we get to stay there! I was so ready to get out of that barn I was sleeping in.

Kazuma: So this is it?

We stood at the gates of a decent sized mansion. I could see us all living here peacefully. But first, we just gotta get rid of these ghosts. Aqua's got this in the bag for sure.

Aqua: I guess. This mansion is pretty big though.

He all entered the mansion. Nothing looked suspicious or weird. It was just a plain old mansion. With furniture! While all the others were checking out the downstairs... I was gonna go claim my room upstairs. Haha, I'm so smart. I rush upstairs and look for the biggest bedroom.

Y/N: Aha!

I run into the room I chose and jumped into the bed. Ah... It felt relaxing. I could stay here in this same position all day! I had a pretty nice view to. I hear the others come upstairs and I'd figure I would hide from them. I enter my closet with an evil smile on my face.

Megumin: Y/N! Where are you?

Kazuma: Y/N?!

Aqua: He's probably chilling in one of these rooms, chill out.

I chuckled a little bit.

A couple minutes i go by. I figured they checked every room, except mine.

Megumin: Y/N! Please come out, your scaring me!

Kazuma: Maybe he was possessed by one of these spirits and left already..?

I heard Megumin wack Kazuma on the head.

Megumin: Shut up! He has to be around here.

I then hear someone enter my room. Oh no.

Megumin: Oh Y/N?~

I shall not come out. Never!

She then opened the closet door.

Ah shit.

Megumin: There you are! Why did you hide from us?

Y/N: I just wanted to see y'all's reaction, okay?

She hugged me and made it tight.

Megumin: Don't do that's ever again!

I then hug her too and smile.

Y/N: I'm sorry if I made you worry, It won't happen again.

I then kiss her on the cheek, making both of us blush.

Y/N: Anyways, you like the room? I chose it for myself.

She looked around and noticed something.

Megumin: Hey... This is bigger than all the other rooms! No fair! Hmph!

So damn cute!!

Y/N: Say... Where's your room?

Megumin: Oh... I don't know, let me pick one.

She then left the room and stumbled down the hallway.

A couple minutes pass by as she comes back.

Megumin: Apperantly there's only 4 rooms in this mansion and they are all taken.

Y/N: would you like to share my room?

Megumin: U-uh...

Y/N: don't worry, i won't do any perverted things! I'm not like that.

Megumin: Okay. You can do anything you want to me tho.

She then smiled at me and I start blushing. Is she insane? She giggled and exited the room. I sighed and went downstairs for lunch. Aqua was already on it. I wasn't to worried about these spirits because Aqua could deal with them easily so, yea.

It became night time. We were all in our bedrooms and Megumin was with me. She was kind of scared to sleep. She was also even cuter without her hat! Can things get better than this?

Megumin: Y/N?

Y/N: Hm?

Megumin: Are you not scared to go to sleep in this haunted mansion?

Aqua: TURN UNDEAD! TURN UNDEAD! TURN UNDEAD!!!!!

I Then point to the hallway.

Y/N: Nah, Aqua's got this. Plus I'll make sure nothing harms you.

She hugs me.

Megumin: Thanks Y/N!

I blushed and smiled.

Y/N: Your welcome.

I can't sleep... No matter how hard I try, I can't. All I could do I stare at Megumin's cute, sleeping face. I hear a noise in the room and I just ignore it. A few minutes to by and I hear a noise again. This time I look around the room. Nothing is wrong at al- Never  mind, there's a freaking doll starting at me. It had a little blue Aura outline around it. I said I would protect Megumin... And that's what I'm gonna do.
