The world we live in
Plagued with fear,
Filled with horror
And broken by despair,
Children watching adults fight and tear themselves apart
Teenagers being so rotten and parents calling it acting out,
Allow them, leave them, they are just kids they say
But hang on to every heard word and leave the parents in absolute doubt,
We envy, keep malice, fight and curse
But we say it doesn't do harm to anyone,
People cheat, lie, rape and threaten
And then they say it's all just a bit of fun,
Enjoy yourselves before the party ends they say
But when are we to find out we live in total madness,
We hurt each other, we do not forgive
And this continues all the hate sadness,
A beautiful dream we share
To ensure a better word for next generations,
Something worth fighting for
Instead we succumb to ugly temptations,
We can't expect a change
When we don't even try,
One man can affect so many lives
And change can start with you and l,
