It was thanks to a short chain of events thar Robin was in this situation. All it took was one minor mission to go terribly wrong. Heck, it was barley a mission, all he had to do was go and fetch a toy from a abandoned factiry that had been producing these toys but had been shut down due to the fact that these particular toys sent their victims into a coma. Batman had sent Robin to grab one of the toys whilst he interrogated a ex-worker for information on the subject. However, when he was told that there was a trap ready for the young bird, he immediately left and set off to the factory where Robin had a needle of fear toxin to his throat as Scarecrow stood triumphantly looking down at Batman.

"Sorry Batman, but I've really got to go." Scarecrow hissed as he threw a canister of fear gas at the Bat then left with the boy.

That's how Robin got into his current situation. Strapped to a chair infront of a table. Kidnapped once again.

"Ugh, can you guys please be quiet?" He mumbled to Scarecrow and Riddler who were having a small argumen on why Scarecrow had kidnapped the bird and why Riddler had left riddles so Batman would interrogate the correct henchman.

"Ah, I see he's awake, tell me boy wonder, what's-"

"Not now Riddler, I kidnapped him, therefore I'll do the talking."

"Urgh, will you guys quit arguing already?" Robin groaned, receiving a slap to the face. He growled and glared at Scarecrow. "Do not talk unless I tell you to do so."

"Agh, why did you hit me?!" A slender hand wrapped around Robins throat and the boy gasped, "O-okay, okay I-I'll be quiet!"

"Good" Scarecrow muttered.

Robin sighed and looked around for a way out. "There is no way in or out. I have Batproofed the entire building and have had it checked three times, you cannot escape." Scarecrow smirked.

"And you still think that'll stop him?!" Robin asked, Scarecrow shrugged,

"I'll take the chance."

"Both of you, shut up." Riddler muttered. Scarecrow huffed and Robin rolled his eyes, Edward then shook his head and walked away leaving Robin and Scarecrow alone. "So, I'm bored, can we play a game?"

"How about the be quiet game?" Scarecrow asked.

"Nah, that one's boring."

"How about, strangle the bird?"

"Actually, I think I'll be okay..." Robin said.

"Good" Scarecrow replied as he patted Robins head, Robin flinched and scarecrow raised an eyebrow beneath his burlap mask. "What's wrong, scared?" He sneered.

"Of you? Ha, don't make me laugh" Robin smirked.

"Oh, but I know you are scared that your parents deaths were your fault." Scarecrow said.

"Shut up." Robin growled.

"Oh, and it really is, isnt it?" He chuckled, taking off his mask and smirking at him before running a hand through his brown hair.

"It's not I- I..." the raven headed boy started but couldn't finish.

"Oh of corse it's not!" Crane said as he slipped on his glasses and knelt down to Ribins level, "if it's really not your fault, then why are you here and not with them? Hmm?"

Robin glared up at Crane, "it was a murder, there was nothing I could have done!"

"You could have stopped the murder though, couldn't you?"
