Alex and Sammy would go on to not only win the tournament but also the tag team titles for the fifth time as the dark carnival, this would be Alex's first reign as smackdown tag team champion.
Alex: You see people? I told you we would win that tournament and those titles and look what we did. I said we'd do it and we backed it up in the ring.
Sammy: We are the most dominant group on smackdown right now and we plan on being that way for as long as possible.
Alex: So if there's any cha-
Cole: Oh my god!
Graves: Is it who I think it is?!
Cole: Chris Sabin! Alex Shelley!
Graves: The Motor City Machine Guns!!!!
Sabin: You want a challenge?
Shelley: Here we are.
Alex: Normally we wouldn't accept your challenge cause you haven't earned it but because we've been interested in fighting you guys for a while, so you're on.
Sabin: What do you say we have a Motor City street fight at Clash of Champions?
Sammy: I'd say you're on.
They shake hands and leave the ring, backstage Alex was talking to Rhea while Rose was playing with Jeff's daughters.
Alex: So, I know you don't want me competing very much after the last injury so I thought, since we freebird the tag titles whenever we have them, I'll do some matches as one half of the champs and then let Jeff take over when I can't or need to step away from the ring for a bit.
Rhea: Good, you can do part time while still being relevant without having to compete so much plus we'll be able to have you home a more and Rose will be able to spend more time with her father cause she misses you.
Rose: I miss you daddy.
Alex: I miss you too sweetheart, that's why daddy's gone be home more often now.
Rose: Yay! I love you daddy.
Alex: I love you too my little princess.
Rose: *giggles* Can we get ice cream after mommy's done?
Alex: I don't know, what do you think mommy?
Rhea: I think as long as you're paying, that should be fine.
Rose: Yay!
Rhea: Hey sweetheart, wanna see a trick that makes daddy do what I want?
Rose: Yes *Giggles*
Rhea: Alex.
Alex: Ye- *She kisses him and he gets weak in the knees*
Rose: That was funny mommy.
Rhea: One day you'l have that effect on boys.
Rose: Really?
Rhea: Yes. Now let's get some ice cream.
And wih that they had some ice cream and went home to have an awesome rest of the day and week for that matter cause Alex and Rhea weren't needed til next fridays episode of smackdown
