"I hope you know that by agreeing to this, you're comitting treason. And the cost of such an act, is your neck."

His words rang in your head like church bells

His words rang in your head like church bells. The summer breeze grazed gently against your skin as you looked out your bedroom window. The faintest nature sounds were playing outside as it lulled the country, the town and the emperor to sleep. The sky was a beautiful hue of midnight blue and the moon shone shyly behind the grey clouds. Stars however, were the sky's twinkling lights as they proudly danced amongst each other.

It was a beautiful night . Perfect, to commit treason .

From the comfort of your small crouded bed, you focused on the warmth that spooned you from behind. Arms wrapped around your waist like the tightest of locks and legs tangled with yours under ragged sheets.

You turned back to face him. You couldn't sleep tonight, nor the night before, nor the one before.  You've been thinking none stop of your next move. And in the midst of that, you failed to notice how sad it had made him that you suddenly drew back to yourself. He was sleeping like the purest of angels. Cheeks pressed against the soft pillow and lips parted ever so slightly in steady breaths.

He's so beautiful..

You took your time drinking in every small detail, breathing in every faint scent, and registering every last bit of him like this

You took your time drinking in every small detail, breathing in every faint scent, and registering every last bit of him like this.

Because you'll never see him again .

You knew you were doing an awful thing, leaving him in the hours of drakness with no last goodbye, no warning, no last words and no explanation. You had been awfully distracted the past week because everytime you looked at him. A vision of what he might do when he wakes up only to find you gone, flashes in your head. And it pained you to the very last chord.

'Noona ?' you could hear him call, voice raspy and small. 'hello ? noona, are you home ?' Jungkook would sit up, look around the room for you, check the bathroom, the kitchen, the small guarden that barely graces you with any goods, then he would sit alone, confused, but patiently waiting for you to come back with what he assumed would be breakfast .
