luke

i got out of the shower and rubbed lotion on my hands, then combed my hair up. i put my boxers on, then my jeans and looked at myself in the mirror. i'm getting fat. i need to slim down. i grabbed a random shirt, which happened to be my pierce the veil shirt. i walked downstairs and sat at the table with my mum.

"luke, how are you feeling?" she asked. i shrugged and grabbed a poptart.

"you have an appointment in thirty minutes. we need to go now."

"i know."

"it's snowing out, so you're gonna need a coat."

"okay." i sighed and grabbed my coat off the rack and slipped my vans on. she smiled and locked the door behind us. i got in the car and she started driving.

"so, luke how do you feel today?" dr. harper asked.

"good."

"luke, do you still think michael is real?"

"i know he's real."

"okay. we're gonna put you on a few medications, okay?"

"okay." i replied. he wrote a few things down and left.

"mum, am i really crazy?" i asked.

"no honey, you're just confused."

"alright, lucas. we've prescribed you four medications. the directions will be on the bottles." the doctor handed my mum the papers. she shook his hand and scheduled my next appointment. we got back in the car and she drove us to a pharmacy place which was also a small store.

"have a look around luke. it'll be a few waiting for your meds." she patted my back. i nodded and walked away. i walked down the isle where the candles were and i sniffed a few. i pulled my wallet out and looked how much money i had. i had twenty three dollars, so i can buy a few. i love candles, so much. i grabbed four and walked to the register.

"that'll be $20.77" the woman said. i handed her $22 and she handed me the change.

"have a nice day." she fake smiled. i fake smiled back and found my mum.

"here you go." a man handed the pills to my mum. she smiled and thanked him. i took them and walked to the car. we finally got home and i went to my room.
