Chapter 8

"They'll be here in 4 days" Alice informs the rest.

"This could turn into a blood bath." Carlisle said. "Who's behind it?" Edward ask Alice.

"I didn't see anyone I recognize. Maybe one.." she thought "I know his face. He's local, Riley Biers. He didn't start this." Edward said. "Whoever did is staying out of the action." Alice says.

"They must be playing with the blind spots in your vision." Carlisle said to her. "Either way, the army is coming...and there aren't enough of us to protect the town." jasper spoke up.

"Hold up. What damn army?" Jake asked.

"Newborns. Our kind." Carlisle informs him. "What are they after?" Embry asked them.

"They were passing around Bella's and kya's scent. A red blouse and a book." Alice said 'thats why my book went missing, but why does he need my scent?' I thought.

"To get close to bella" Edward whisper to me. "They're after bella? What hell does this mean?Jake sounded so worried.

"It means an ugly fight. With lives lost" Carlisle tells him. Jake looks at the two wolves, 'they want to fight.' I thought. "Alright, we're in" Jake tells them 'what a surprise' i thought as I cross my arms, Edward smirk.

"No. You'll get yourselves killed, no way." Bella tells jake. "I wasn't asking your permission" Jake tells her. "If we do get hurt, there's Kya with healing abilities." Embry said.

"Edward." Bella looks at Edward. "It means more protection for you."

"Jacob. Do you think Sam will agree to...an understanding?" Carlisle asked. "As long as we get to kill some vampires." Jake said. I rolled my eyes at him, 'so dramatic' I thought

"Jasper?" Carlisle said. "They'll give us the numbers and newborns won't know they even exist. That'll give us an edge."
We'll need to coordinate" Carlisle said.

"Carlisle, they'll gonna get hurt." Bella gets up. "We'll all need some training. Fighting newborns requires knowledge that jasper has. You're welcome to join us." He said.

"Alright. Name the time and place." Jake said.

Jake...you don't know what you're getting yourself into." Bella warns him. "Bella...This is what we do. You should be happy. Look at us, working together. You're the one who wanted us to get along, remember?" He said to her, I was surprise he said that to her.

The next day was training day, Edward asked me to bring my pouch of water. Still don't know why I had to bring it?

"Again!" Emmett said as he gets up. Everyone wear they're training clothes on. We saw the pack come. "They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms." Edward tell Carlisle. "They came. That's what matters. Will you translate?" He asked him.

"Welcome. Jasper has experience with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them." Carlisle explains. "They want to know how the newborns is differ from us." Edward said.

"They're a great deal stronger than us, because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful...than in our first several months of this life." Carlisle then turn the attention to jasper.

"Carlisle's right. That's why they created. A new newborn army, doesn't need thousands like a human army and no human army could stand against them. The two most important things to remember are. First: never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly. The second: never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that. And you will lose. Emmett?" He calls him.

The two brothers stand part, "don't hold back" jasper tells him "not in my nature" both started fighting but jasper knocks Emmett down, "never lose focus"

Now this Edward and Carlisle turn, Edward pins him down, "one more thing" Carlisle manage to pin Edward down, "never turn you back on your enemy" very true. Even I know that, it went all of training. I thought it was done when jasper calls my name. "What? You want me to fight?" I said crossing my arms.

"Edward told us how you attacked the volturi, using your techniques. I like to see how it will work." He said, "no. It's too dangerous. I won't let kya get hurt." Bella said. "Kya, is a powerful bender. We saw how she fought against Luna. She's capable." Edward said.  I nodded to jasper. We stood apart, then jasper ran to me. I created tentacles like arms, I grabbed one of his legs, making him lose balances. He quickly got up, I froze his feet, which made him look down. I then blast a big wave of water at him. "Never lose focus" I repeat what he says. "Well done kya" he said. "That was awesome!" Emmett shouts.

Later that night I was in my room just reading, since my other book was taken. The out of nowhere bella and Edward burst in, "you know, normal people knock before entering someone's room." I tell them. Bella and Edward told me the new plan.
