3. The Plan

Just do everyone a favor and kill yourself

I was actually considering what this voice in my head kept telling me. I felt like living was useless. My boss is probably fuming right now but I couldn't care less.

Go ahead, grab the knife

I stared at it. They managed to hide the razor bur the small knife was still there. I still can't believe Ed could do that.

Hurry up and end this you bitch

"No!" I sat on the floor again, rocking myself back and forth. I was basically ripping my hair off. I heard people yelling outside.

Nobody wants you, just go ahead

"I can't" I started sobbing. I still love Ed. I was rooting for something. Anything, really. Anything that can explain what he's done. The door burst open, I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Its okay, love" I heard Louis' voice whisper

"When did she even go back in there?" I heard Perrie ask. I was dragged into my room again. Melanie looked at me sympathetically.

"C'mon, lets go out" I heard her say. She started looking for more decent clothes, but I thought my onsie was fine.

"Hey, we're leaving. Take care of her, yeah?" I heard Harry say to Melanie

"Yeah, Bye!!"

We were at the park. Melanie just forced me to get out of the apartment. Thankfully, the park was empty. I just wanted to crawl into the slide and stay there. My onsie was replaced by a shirt and jeans.

"Dude!" Melanie yelled right after I ran to the slide.

"I DON'T CARE, I LOVE IT!!!" I yelled/sang quite horribly and slid down. You know those slides that are like huge pipes that the people can't see if anyone is really inside? Yeah, that the slide.

I stopped when I felt like it was on the middle of the slide and just sat there.

"Hey, do you want Ice Cream?" I heard Melanie ask from outside

"Do you seriously need to ask?" I thought Melanie knew what my deal with Ice Cream was.

"Okay, just stay there" I heard her say and then her feet just connecting to the ground making a crushing sound.

I took my phone from my pocket and started playing Circle. Still not getting over Ed here. Oh man.

I got up from the swing and started walking towards the Ice Cream shop nearby. Ice Cream wasn't really the main thing I was gonna get. I was gonna ask the others about our plan.

I found Eleanor's contact number and called her. After a few rings she answered.

"Hey" I said to the phone

"Hey, how is she?" Eleanor asked

"Good, we're at the park. She's at the slide" I opened the door and entered

"The boys told me that Ed just made that thing with you up. Are we on with the plan?"

"What? Right now?" I asked as I ordered two vanilla on a sugar cone.

"Maybe tomorrow, they said Ed is drunk right now"

"He's drinking? Again?" I asked and went outside after paying for the Ice Cream.

"Yeah"

"I'm calling it Operation bring back toxic love birds together. Lol, bye"

"Bye Mel"

I heard the familiar beep and put my phone back in my pocket. I walked back until I got right in front of the exit of the tube slide.

"I gotcha Ice Cream" I sing songed as I crawled into the slide. It was hard. It could fit like, two people squished up together but I was holding two Ice cream cones, one in each hand.

Her hand stretched out to meet the cone. She was a bit far so I just did all that I can to hand her the cone.

"Thanks Mel" I heard her say

"Yay she's happy!" I cheered.

"Well, there is Ice Cream" We laughed. I started to get out of the slide and sat down on the swing next to it.

"Why'd he do it Mel?" She asked through the plastic border of the slide

"I don't know, really" I managed to say.

"I mean, he made like, promises you know?" Her voice showed how she felt. This was not good.

"I'm sure he's got a good explanation. He loves you" That was the only thing I could say. I waited for a few minutes and she still wasn't talking back.

"I think you're mindblown" I cracked our classic mindblown joke. I heard her choke

"Hey! I'm not mindblown. I'm just- no, I was eating!" She yelled back in defense.

"Nah, you're mindblown"

"I told you. I was eating"

"Whatever floats your boat" I shrugged and continued eating my ice cream
