I sighed as I walked to the hotel building. I called my boss earlier to see if she hasn't fired me yet and luckily, she didn't, so I had to go to work today. Even though Ed kept insisting that I shouldn't work when he was around but I was always agains't it. I can't let him make me a full blown couch potato and just rely on him. I greeted the guard a good morning before entering the building.
It still looked the same way I was last here. It was like, a week ago. I greeted Crissi, the receptionist and my pizza buddy here and started walking to my office. It was basically a small room with a desk, a computer and some chairs when I first worked here but I cleaned it up and made it a bit comfier. I dropped my bag on the table. Yes, I work in a hotel as the assistant of the manager. I know right. Sounds weird but all I have to do is run errands, answer some phone calls and make a few papers here and there. I heard a knock on my door and I opened it.
"I just came to check if you were alright- I mean you've been gone for days" Bethany chuckled as she entered the room. She was indeed my boss, the manager of this hotel.
"Thanks, I'm okay now" I said with a small smile. She grinned in return.
"I better go, those papers aren't gonna do themselves you know!" She said as she started walking out.
"Bye" I said as I turned on my computer. I stared at the stack of papers in front of me. I had a lot of work to do.

"So you guys have to go on tour?" I asked. Man, I'm gonna miss these guys.
"Yeah, we leave in a few weeks"
"Bummer" I said with a small smile.

I sighed. This was gonna be a long day. I stared at the stack of contracts in front of me. Maybe some food will do the trick. I grabbed another one and promised myself I would go out after this one.
We would like to extend our gratitude- blah blah blah
Why would they be thankin- oh wait. Okay.. Okay... I nodded to myself as I took in the information I was reading. I got startled as I heard a knock on the door.
"COME IN" I yelled. Why did I have to yell.
"Pizza delivery!"
Wait. What. I grinned at the thought of having pizza in the office. Why hasn't the delivery guy come in?
"THAT DOOR IS OPEN" The door creaked open, I saw Eds face pop out.
"Aren't you supposed to tell me you didn't order anything?" He said as he chuckled. He set the box down on the desk and placed a kiss on my lips.
"I would be lying if I said I didn't want anything" I smiled. I opened the box and grabbed a slice.
"What are you doing here anyway?" I chuckled.
"You don't want me here? Okay, I'll be taking that" He said and grabbed the box and started walking.
"Hey! Its not fair!" I yelled "Put that back!" I faked a sniffle. He turned around and I covered my face, pretending to cry.
"Are you crying about the pizza or me leaving?" He asked as he walked closer.
"You, silly" I giggled as I wrapped my arms around him. He laughed and placed his arms around me. I took the chance to grab another slice.
"You don't want me, you only want pizza"
"Nooo, you're way cooler than pizza"
"I find that hard to believe"
"Oh, you don't believe me?" I said as I let go of him. I grabbed the box and headed for the trash can. I can't do it. Oh God. I heard him chuckle.
"Please don't make me do this" I whined. My grip on the box got tighter. His face showed amusement. He was enjoying this.
"Ed, its bad to throw blessings away!"
"Maybe I do want the pizza" I said as I went back to sit on my extremely bouncy sofa chair. I can never bear with stiff chairs.
"But hey, I want you more! I love you more than pizza!" He laughed and sat with me.
"You can always stay with me you know"
"Ed we've talked about this before"
"But this time, its different" He took another bite. My face scrunched up.
"What are you talking about?"
"The guys are going on a world tour, I'm coming with them, but this time, I want you to come with me"
