Days went by. Patiently waiting for the right time to escape even though I was still contemplating if I should risk my life to escpae. I knew I had to try. It was night and the only source of light I had was the moon which made it even more difficult for me.

Even though I was petrified, I still stirred up the courage to escape. He left the door unopened and wasn't in the house. I got up quietly and could have felt my heart beating rapidly.

Every footstep made a creaking sound from the loose wooden boards. I cracked one out of the floor boards and proceeded to walk with it in hand.

I sat behind the front door, waiting patiently for this man who I thought was my father, to come back. With tears in my eyes, I heard the sound of his car parking and I knew it was time. The door slowly opened and I knew it was time.

As he opened the door, I swung the piece of wood directly at his face. He stumbled back and feel on the ground unconsciously. I took my chance and ran until my legs felt sore.

As I run further into the darkness, I can sense the oppressing shadows reaching out to grab me. As I continue running, I felt exhausted. This was the furthest I walked in a few days.

I ran the furthest I could. I was running slower by the minute. I tried to continue but the urge to give up running was strong. I ran until I couldn't feel my feet.

"I-i made it? I finally made it!" I smiled. I entered the train and waited for the doors to close. As the train started, My "Father" was there, watching me from outside the train. He smirking with his eyes slightly open. As the train took off, I can see him waving. I don't know where I'll go or what just happened, but I know, this isnt the end.
