CHOI UMJI's POV
"you ready?"
"i'm ready, just a bit nervous but i am ready." ji-eun exclaimed as i too, was nervous. she then gave me a reassuring look before punching the air. i don't know why but it somehow releases her nervousness and frustration so i let her be.
we entered the school with a lot of eyes on us. maybe they recognize the princess? maybe no. maybe our faces are foreign to them since we're new students? maybe yes.
while we were approaching ji-eun's locker i could hear girls screaming and that made me and the princess turn our heads towards the direction they were cheering at.
"HAECHAN NOTICE ME"
"OH MY GOD THEY'RE SO HOT"
"DIBS ON JAEMIN"
"I'LL DATE JISUNG "NO YOU WON'T"
i saw 7 boys walking down the hallway, girls around them as they busted their lungs out and cheered.
"hey umji, any info about them?"
"yeah, their somewhat a group called 'dream' they're just dudes, well attractive dudes." while the princess nodded i looked up closely to the boy with blue hair.
he was attractive but i resisted his charms and focused on his blue hair. what a weird choice of hair color though i respect his decision still.
as they walked to us closer and closer we both locked our eyes onto each other. after a few seconds, i broke the eye contact because i didn't really care and it didn't need to last longer.
"let's go to our classroom." i said and ji-eun immediately nodded. i could sense that she doesn't feel as comfortable with the situation since it was very new for her.
we walked to our classroom and while walking, i looked at ji-eun who was observing everything. it was delighting to see her smile appear as we arrived the classroom, it must be very exciting and nerve-wracking. and the teacher told us to wait outside for her to introduce us.
"so today, we will be having 2 new students." the teacher said, i can see ji-eun fiddling with her fingers and playing with it. "please come in."
"hello, good morning, i am choi umji, please take care of me." i said, smiling from ear to ear as i looked at ji-eun who was looking at me, she had a question in mind.
"hello, i am kim ji-eun, let's get along and please take care of me." she said and the classroom stayed silent for a while before it was filled with murmurs.
"wow they're pretty."
"umji is cute."
"ji-eun, sounds so familiar."
we just stood there, i couldn't feel anything rather than awkwardness, pressure, and nervousness. i mean, there was a spark of excitement but it was mild, i knew how hard school is but ji-eun doesn't have a clue. though i want her to experience what she wants.
"since there aren't really empty seats, you'll be seperated, is that okay?" the teacher asked as she looked at us and we reciprocated it, giving a sincere smile since she seemed nice.
"umji, you sit beside chenle." the teacher said and i immediately looked for my seatmate.
chenle? i think i've read that somewhere from my research about this school. you see, their majesties asked me to know more about this school and who attends it for ji-eun's safety since i'll be the person who will assist her.
"chenle, would you please raise your hand?" a boy with orange hair and a familiar face raised his hand. the fact that he was familiar to me was unknowingly shocking though i just let it be.
"okay umji, you may now take your seat." i then nodded to me and took my seat beside chenle.
while making my way to my seat my eyes then fixated on a boy with blue hair, the same blue hair i saw earlier at the hallway, he was staring at me until the teacher called him and he raised his right hand so that it could be seen.
ji-eun will seat beside him and I'm kinda worried, he has this 'bad boy' ego and i'm scared for the princess, what if he does something bad to her?
"hi umji, i'm chenle."
