CHOI UMJI's POV
"see you later umji!"
"okay chenle! thank you for being a friend." i said, giving chenle one last smile before he went out of the room. i then walked towards ji-eun and her blue-haired seatmate.
"hey ji-eun, do you maybe wanna have lunch with us?" i heard the blue-haired boy ask and i saw ji-eun furrow her eyebrows. "with whom, may i ask?"
"your vocabulary and sentences are so expensive but wanna have lunch with the dreamies?" he exclaimed and i can't help but chuckle at his words, ji-eun was utterly shocked although and confused, maybe it's because she didn't know enough slang since she was forbidden to use them.
"d-dreamies?"
"come, you'll meet them." suddenly, the blue-haired boy gripped onto my wrist in each hand, leaving me surprised, looking at ji-eun.
we arrived at the canteen and walked to a table with six men sitting. they were very eye-catching, no wonder they were popular among girls. but what surprised me the most was when i saw chenle in there, sitting with them.
'so that's why i felt glares at me.' i thought, it was because chenle was a part of the dream squad which i've seemingly forgotten due to the fact that this day has been extremely staggering. let alone that this day has just started.
i then looked at ji-eun who seemed like she had just saw a ghost, staring at the chestnut-haired guy whom i remember to be haechan, lee haechan.
"ji-eun?"
"ji-eun???"
"pri-.. i mean ji-eun!" i called out to her, trying my best to wake her up from her thoughts as she looked at me, wide-eyed for some reason.
"your highness, i think you're dozing off again." i then whispered as i nudged her arm. "you're kinda staring at the boy, i think it's creeping him out. i think you should halt before things get peculiar."
"ah, what?" she flinched just before jaemin spoke, clasping his hands together.
"guys, this is umji and ji-eun, girls meet the guys, the one with blonde hair and looks like a dog is jeno, the one who's laughing loudly is mark, you know our chenle, the one talking to jisung who's talking to chenle, the one painting something is renjun, and that's haechan, the one who's glaring at this direction but don't worry, he just has anger issues, nothing personal."
they smiled at us to which we reciprocated. it was visible that everyone was jolly and sweet, they may have this intimidating vibes but seeing them smile was heart-warming. except for the haechan dude who seems to be glaring at ji-eun's direction.
"yo dream!" mark then yelled and the others said their chant, it was amusing because they were very loud and energetic, they just had weird hair colors.
"jjeoreo, juja, fighting!"

it was already the last class of the day. i was a bit taken aback, to be honest. i didn't know that time could fly so, so fast. although, i sighed in relief because i survived the whole day without any sudden situations nor problems.
focused on fixing my things, i was extremely surprised when i felt a tap on my shoulder. i knew that it wouldn't be ji-eun since ji-eun would straight up back-hug me.
with my nervousness heightened, i turned around only to see a smiling jaemin, he had a beautiful smile, in all honesty.
"uhm umji, do you maybe wanna go get ice cream with me?" he stood there confidently but having the ability to read people comes in very handy, he was very nervous yet proud. which made me wonder, why was he nervous?
"sure! i'll ask ji-eun if she wants to co-"
"ah no, just the two of us? if that's okay?" he said, that smile of his was tempting but it was resistible, for me at least. although, i found it rude to deny a person's request when they were just trying to do something good.
"sure, i guess?" i said, smiling back at him dearly, i knew he meant good.
"okay, let's go!" he said victoriously which made me chuckle. he seemed very happy which was odd for me but i think it's because he wanted to befriend me next since he's already close with ji-eun.
"hey! where are you two going?"
