CHRIS'S POV
The moment I opened my eyes.... I was in the Hospital together with Evan.
The police found us two up on the mountain and brought us here in the Capital of Damascus Hospital. They say Evan is one of their companion and shipped us out to the Damascus as soon as possible.
I woke up holding the Amulet that SHE gave me. Everything I remembered back there was so vague... but one thing is clear in my mind...
She's gone... like long gone... disappeared...
I feel nauseous every time I remembered her face fading out... I don't have any tears left to cry out... my whole body is so heavy every time I tried to walk or stand.
I don't know what words I'm gonna say to Evan when he will gain conscious again. He might feel more devastated than I am. But he needs to know the truth about everything that's why I braced my self when Evan woke up after 3 weeks...
I was sure that I explained everything to him... but he didn't even flinched or startled about everything happened to his Sister... as if like he was expecting it from the very start...
Maybe the reason why he was very protective and obsessed to Angel because he might see this coming.
I didn't get mad to him for such an expressionless face after hearing his Sister died protecting the World, Us...
But I feel like he doesn't want to cry or mourn for his Sister because SHE might regret everything if she saw us in the middle of sorrow.
Therefore, After our sickbed at Hospital, I started applying as a Police Officer like Evan and lived a happy life as a Normal Guy without any divine powers or duty as a Guardian...
You're the bravest woman I've ever met not as Guardian but as My Woman
and you'll be my one and only CHOSEN ONE from my Heart.
