snowkit's journey

chapter 1

snowkit woke up but instead of being in his mossy nest with his mother wrapped abound him, he was in a bird's nest. cold wind blew in his fur making him shiver. if he had not been deaf he would have heared the howling of it, blowing into his face. slowly he climbed out of the straw nest and slowly climbed down the mountain. looking up every once in a while in case the hawk came back.

soon he got to the bottom of the mountain, exhausted.

he decided he should hide somewhere safe, he considered hiding under a nearby bush but changed his mind and slept under a large tree.

many moons had passed since snowkit had been taken away. he was now around six moons.

having no way to survive on his own, he let himself be taken in by a few twolegs who fed him until now.

he had felt like it was the time that he should start finding the clans.

he was walking at night when one of the stars seemed to dissapear. he usually learned to imagine what things sounded like by how they interacted with him. there was shining in front of him and loud noises. he couldn't figure out what they might have sounded like or if he was imagining it at all. suddenly a faded cat appeared and to prove he wasn't imagining, the cat started to speak, ''hello young one, im stormshine"

This cat had a stary pelt and a see through body. Their eyes glowed and they were lightly levetating above the floor.

snowkit's jaws dropped open in shock 'starclan is visiting me!' he thought. ''w-what are you here for?'' snowkit asked nervously

stormshine replied, ''you have a long and dangerous journey ahead, im here to guide you.''

suddenly, stormshine dissapeared but a warm feeling of the silver she-cat still surrounded him and the missing star went back to it's place in the night sky.

snowkit had gone many days without eating, he felt lonley as his only cat for companionship was a dead starclan cat, who barely spoke. the faint mist of stormshine lead her to a little cave at the edge of a small field. snowkit wondered why he had been lead to here. he tried to ask stormshine but she would not respond.

the sun was high now, he could faintly see what was in the cave. suddenly two cats emerged, only their shadows showing.
