Lately I been in my feelings
High on heels
Overwhelmed by stupid peels
Lately I've not been myself
I've been far away from being safe.
It doesn't get easy
It never does,
When you feel like done
But you can't stop those wheels
It doesn't feel like a paradise
When you see the angles
Instead of angels.
Lately I been in a bad place
Tip-toeing the past I chase
Away from everything I embrace
Lately the day took so long
It feels bad to see what's wrong
So wrong to contemplate the song
But then you really can't sing.
