Alex knows. He knows what's going on. If I couldn't get answers from Travis or Mitch, I would have to get it out of Alex.

I woke up the next day and headed straight to Alex's room. I had to get answers. I went to knock on his door but heard shouting and banging from Mitch's room. Immediately, I creeped over to Mitch's door and listened to what was going on inside.
"You were with Scott, weren't you?" Travis screamed. "I bet you fucked him. I wouldn't be fucking suprised. You have sex with everyone who comes near you. Why are you such a fucking whore Mitch? I AM YOUR BOYFRIEND YOU CHEATING BASTARD!" I heard a loud crash from behind the door and sobbing coming from who I assumed was Mitch. Did Travis just hit him? What should I do? If Travis even knew I was here he would be pissed at me for even being close to Mitch.
"I'm leaving. Don't even come within a mile of Scott because there WILL be consiquences!" Travis shouted. I ran as fast as my legs could take me. If Travis caught me near Mitch he would flip. I hid around the corner and watched as Travis went into his dorm. Great. I couldn't speak to Alex with Travis in the room.

I decided to see if Mitch was okay after what had just happened.
"Go away!" Mitch shouted as I knocked.
"It's me Mitch!"
"I don't care! Leave me alone! I don't need you to babysit me."
"Please let me in Mitch?" I asked.
"Why? So I can get you hurt too? I don't think so!"
"Please? Just hear me out." It took him a minute but eventually he came and unlocked the door.
"Why do you want to see me?" He asked with his head peaking around the door, hiding the rest of his body.
"I heard shouting from your room. I was wondering if you were okay."
"I'm fine, now can you leave?"
"Can I come in for a minute?" I asked.
"No." He replied blankly.
"Why not?"
"You just can't Scott." Even though he said not to, I barged past him and entered his room. I was shocked at what I saw. The room was trashed. All of the posters that used to hang on his wall were shredded. His clothes were ripped out of his closet and threw all over the room. The mattress off his bed had been thrown to the other side of Mitch's room and the wooden bed frame had been broken. All the contents from his bedside drawers had been scattered all around his room, making his room look like a bomb site.
"Travis did this?" I asked. Mitch nodded in response.
"He got mad because I was with... you." He replied. His eyes began to water as he spoke. He had a dark bruises on his cheeks and around his both of his wrists. Did Travis do that to him? A single tear creeped out of his eye and made its way down his battered cheek.
"Did he... hurt you?" I asked, shocked by Travis' actions already.
"Yeah. It doesn't hurt though." He brought his hand up to to his cheek to run across the bruised skin. "I'm numb to it." My heart ached for him. He was being abused! I pulled him into a tight hug and rubbed his back in an attempt to comfort him.
"Thank you." Mitch said after a long silence.
"For what?"
"For being there for me through all this shit." I brought my hand up to cup his cheek. I starred intently into his deep brown eyes. I could see the pain that was hidden in him. My heart ached for him.
"You're beautiful." I didn't mean to say that out loud but I meant it. He was perfect. He blushed at my comment and began leaning in. I leaned in too until our lips eventually met. It felt like an explosion of ecstasy had been set off in my body. It felt like fireworks were going off in my stomach as his lips worked against mine. Every touch sent me into overdrive. The kiss wasn't rushed. It was slow, yet passionate. I put everything I was feeling into that one kiss. As I brought him back to the wall behind him he stopped. He stopped, looked into my eyes and began to panic.
"I just kissed you." He stated. He pushed past me, crouched on the floor with his back to me and pulled at his hair. "What have I done? I promised."
"You promised what?"
"Please leave now Scott."
"But..."
"Leave! You've done enough damage as it is." I stood there for a moment longer before leaving the room. Before closing the door, I peered back at Mitch who was in a ball on the floor crying to himself. His body shook with every sob. What have I done?! I headed back to my room to avoid seeing anyone. I needed to collect my thoughts.

I sat on my bed alone. I had royally fucked up. I didn't know what I had done wrong though. Mitch said himself that he wasn't happy in his relationship so he wasn't necessarily being unfaithful. I wonder why he had reacted so badly to it. The kiss... it meant something. At least it meant a lot to me. It felt like he felt the same way too. Mitch put every inch of passion into that one kiss and he was the one who made it happen in the first place. But why was he so panicky afterwards. Plus, why did Travis hit him earlier. Mitch hasn't done anything to hurt him so what was the cause of his anger towards Mitch? Mitch didn't deserve any of this. He was perfect. He was the most stunning man I have ever seen and he wouldn't hurt a fly. But what was causing Travis' anger? Why was he taking it all out on Mitch? I decided to sneak out the back door of the school at lunchtime and head wherever the road took me. I needed some time alone right now.

I headed down an alley which lead to a small forest which ended in a dark track with large trees above it. The track appeared never ending. The hedges either side protected me from the strong breeze and the trees overhead allowed only small amounts of light to hit the track ahead, poorly illuminating the area around me.

I walked for what felt like hours before a figure appeared in front of me. I stopped in my tracks to let my eyes adjust; however I couldn't make out who or what it was. More figures began to appear and I started to panic. I felt a sharp pain in the side of my neck. Suddenly, I lost what was left of my vision and everything went black.
