A/n- 5th November in the UK is fireworks day
It was a cold fifth of November and Sam and Cody were getting ready to watch the fireworks at their local park. The night had fallen around 5 and the temperature dropped quickly, which took the boys by surprise.
Cody wasn't quite prepared for how cold it was going to be and his light jacket wasn't keeping the cold out. He was shivering, a lot. Sam had notice this and was getting worried for his loves well being
' Hey baby, are you cold?' Sam questioned, his concern could be heard in his voice.
Cody was so cold at this point that the only thing he could do to get his point across was nod. He was never one to make a big deal of things however he felt like if he didn't in this case he wasn't going to enjoy the night that they had looked forward to for so long. Sam took off his jacket and layed it on his partner, pulling him close and rubbing his arm.
'But Sam, won't you get cold'
'Dont worry, I was sensible and put a thermal vest on' Sam said, chuckling at his statement.
The boys sat cuddled together for a while in a content silent, waiting for the firework display to begin. The once empty field was now filled with the bubbly personalites in family's and fair ground rides. The aroma of food vans serving burgers, candy floss and donuts filled the air. Sam's arm draped over Cody's shoulder and he would intertwine his fingers in his gorgeous, curly, dark brown mullet.
' Sammy?'
' Yes baby?'
' can I have some soup?'
Sam nodded and reached into his bag pulling out a thermos of tomato soup that they had warmed a home. He passed the flask to his boy friend who undid the lid and brought it to his lips taking a small sip.
Sam just watched on as a small smile crept into his partners face, indicating that he was enjoying it.
After about 25 minutes and 2 bags of donuts later, the fireworks began. The display of coloured flames bursting into the sky was beautiful. It illuminated an otherwise dark night and put a warm feeling in the boys hearts. Something that Cody needed a lot.
