Chaeyoung's POV

We had reached Lisa's mansion, got into the house and I ran to a room straight.

"W-why does she gotta bring up about the past..." I cried.

"Its Lisa! Can you open the door please ?" Lisa knocked since I locked the door. I inhaled and exhaled, walked towards the door and opened it. Lisa hugged me immediately once I opened the door. I felt shook but hugged her and cried on her shoulders, she started to comfort me and we sat on the bed having a talk.

"Chaeyoung.. I know it hurts, but you got to accept it." Lisa said with a sad frown.

"I-its not easy l-lisa..." I stuttered and cried.

"It might not be easy, but you can't ignore her forever too you know?" Lisa said as she wrapped her arms around my shoulder.

"You know Lisa.. I wanna be like the past, J-jisoo and I.. having fun with no problems.. but it's hurt so much." I said and looked at the floor.

"The past is the past.. Jisoo never intended to hurt you.." Lisa said as she faced me with a slight smile. I felt a little confused when she said that Jisoo never intended to hurt me. I tilted my head a littler and spoke.

"What do you mean?" I said.

"What do I mean?..." Lisa said and inhaled.

"She never intended to hurt you... Her boss forced her to fly to America to find a job, she refused but her boss just booked her a ticket and gave death threats that Jisoo believed. Her boss made her stay there for 5-6 years." Lisa said as she looked at the ceiling. I suddenly started to tear up again, I misunderstood her...

"H-how do you know t-this?" I said as I faced her.

"We met and I talked to Jisoo.." Lisa said with a smile. I wiped my tears away and hugged Lisa, smiling at her and mouthed. "Thank you".

"Yah.. Jisoo. I'm gonna get serious here." Lisa said as she placed the fork on the plate with a glare. "y-yes?" Jisoo stuttered feeling afraid. "Why. Did. You. Leave. Chaeyoung. For. Your. Career." Lisa said one word by one with a low tone making is sound scarier. Jisoo inhaled and closed her eyes. "My boss forced me to fly here to work." Jisoo said with a sad smile.
"Then why didn't you decline the offer?" Lisa said sounding serious. "He gave me death threats and I started to feel terrified so I just gave in.." Jisoo sighed. "Don't tell Chaeyoung." She added in a serious tone. "But why? She needs to know and understand you..." Lisa said as she placed the phone on the table. "I don't want her to feel worried and fly all the way to America just to see me." She said with a sad frown. "Then you rather let her feel hurt and miserable?" Lisa said. "N-no.." Jisoo sighed not knowing how to reply.

~ it's a video call from the past.

"If she would have just told me the truth, I wouldn't feel hurt..." I said sighing.

"She doesn't want you to feel worried and fly all the way to America." Lisa said in a low tone, she definitely knows what I'm gonna say next.

"Then leaving me hurt and miserable is better?" I said and forced a smile, sarcasm.

"N-no it's not like that.." Lisa kissed my cheeks.

"Well... I'll talk to her when I'm ready." I forced a smile and kissed Lisa's cheek.

"Good, now sleep well Chipmunk." Lisa smiled and waved to me before she walked out of the room. I'm starting work tomorrow, again I guess.. I only had 2 days off.

"YAHH! I WANNA WAKE CHAEYOUNG UP!" I heard a shout but ignored it and continued to sleep.

"SHUSH YOUR MOUTH SHE CAN HEMMMMHMY" I heard someone shouted and groaned in annoyance.

"Can't both of you just shush." I muttered and rolled my eyes, falling into my deep sleep again.

"BOOMBAYAH!" Lisa came into my room and shouted, I flinched a little and slowly turned my head to face her. Giving a death stare, "I'm trying to sleep now shut up!" I said with a frown and layed back onto the bed.

"Jeez, I was just wanting to wake you up.." Lisa said and sat on the bed. "Yah!" I shouted at her, she was sitting on top of my me.

"What?" Lisa smirked.

"Get off me you monkey!" I wanted to push her off but she tackled me, tickling me making giggle and laugh out loud.

"M-monkey! G-get off!!" I laughed as I said some words out.

"Not until you wake up!" Lisa continued to tickle me.

"Okay o-okay! I'll g-get up!" I laughed and pushed her with all my strength.

"wOahh-" she almost fell on the ground and I grabbed her hands pulling her back onto the bed. I just giggled and stood up.

"Could have fell but luckily you saved me." Lisa said as she layed on the bed.

"I didn't want to save you, but I feel bad and if I didn't." I chuckled waiting for her reaction, I knew she's frowning already.

"I'm your Bestfriend! How could you!" She said in a childish way making me giggle.

"Sorry monkey!" I said as I went out of the room. I walked downstairs to see Jennie eating alone at the dining table, I looked around trying to find Jisoo but I guess she's out.

"Chaeyounggg! Come sit with me." Jennie said as she munched her food with a sad frown.

"Why so lonely?" I asked as I sat beside her.

"Lisa went to wake you up and who knows what's she's doing right now and Jisoo's at her room eating." I felt a little disappointed when I heard Jisoo's in the room alone, eating.

"Lisa!! Monkey! Hurry come down !" I shouted and giggled.

"How lonely.. Lisa yah.. you left me." Jennie said as she layed her head on my shoulder dramatically, Lisa just frowned and ran to her. Hugging. Gosh thirdwheel feeling alert.

"Now go find your Jisoo." Lisa said with a smirk. I just gave a weird look and took my plate from the table, started walking towards any room. I didn't know which was Jisoo's room and it only had 3 rooms, the left is Lisa and Jennie's, the middle is mine. The right should be Jisoo's.

"Yah! Where you going!" Jennie said.

"Uhm taking my stuff." I said and walked towards Jisoo's room. I carefully twisted the knob and opened the door without making any sound. I stood there seeing Jisoo munch her food while playing her games, she's smiling. I felt kinda delighted when I saw her smiling happily with her game. I just stood there with a smile not noticing till she faced me.

"What are you doing here Chaeyoung ?" She asked with fake smile... Why did she fake a smile..

"N-nothing, wondering why you're in your room eating alone?" I scratched my nape.

"I don't wanna seat at the dining table, that's all." That's a lie, a total lie.

"Are you gonna go eat or?..." Jisoo said as she took another bite of her food.

"I'm staying with you." She seemed a little surprised, I walked towards her and sat beside her, smiling. I wanna lay my head on her shoulder but I don't really want to make her feel uncomfortable.

"Why would you wanna stay here?" She asked, why is she asking this.

"You're alone, after all I don't wanna be with those flirty couples." I giggled and took a bite of my food.

"You care about me?" She asked with a weird tone. I just looked at her and spoke.

"What do you think?" I said and moved closer to her, I'm just sitting beside her.

"Well.. I thought you d-did'nt care." She lowered her head, I felt sadness immediately and held her chin.

"I still care about you with all my heart Chu." I smiled and gave a kiss on her cheek, why did I do that? I already understood that she flew to America because of her stupid boss.

She smiled and gave a kiss on my cheek took, making me blush. We ate our food with talks, laughing, smiling some sweetness.

Its 9am, let's get ready to work.
