CHAPTER 2

ELLE’S POV

Mondays. I hate Mondays. When I was younger, like in kindergarten, I always loved Mondays---full of artworks, worksheets, and stuff. But now, Monday is always the unlucky day. You know, Mondays when you get older get worse. It practically means so much stuff to do.

Speaking of Monday, it’s school again. We’re back to school after a very short weekend. I’m actually a bit of a dork, and a nerd…but just a bit. I’m not the famous type, I’m usually the loner type. Am I bullied? Yes. This little gang with like, “cool” boys always bully ones with glasses: including me.

I just don’t see the point of being called a ‘nerd’ when you wear glasses, you know? It’s nonsense. I mean, just because my occipital isn’t working that well, doesn’t mean I’m a nerd.

It’s really early in the morning, and I’m usually waken up by my alarm clock, but this time I woke up early. So I decided to take a warm bath, and pulled out the usual outfit I wear to school---skinny jeans, simple shirt, and a pair of Keds. I don’t use really heave makeup, I just put on lip gloss, then I’m good to go. I don’t like using eye shadow since it can’t be seen anyway, cuz of my glasses.

I went downstairs to grab breakfast. My mother always prepare us breakfast before she leaves for work. My father, on the other hand, is still here at home drinking a cup of coffee.

“Good morning, sweetie.” My father greeted me, still not taking his eyes off the newspaper.

“Morning, Dad.” I softly kissed his cheek.

“I see you’re up early today… Is this a miracle?” He chuckled.

“I just feel a bit hype today. Just a bit, but I’m still lazy.” What did I just say?

“Alright, dear. Go and eat your breakfast now. Your brother left early to fetch his girlfriend.”

Oh yeah, right. My brother, Brandon, which is 6 years older than me, always fetches his girlfriend to school. My brother and I used to be close, but as we grew older, we don’t really talk that much anymore.

I finished my breakfast---french toast and pancakes, and went upstairs to grab my bag.

“I’ll go to school now, Dad.” I kissed his cheek again.

                “Okay, sweetie. You be careful.”

                “Yes I will.”

HARRY’S POV:

“Welcome to Bronx High School of Science, Mr. Styles.” The old lady greeted me with a warm smile.

I transferred to this school, since I was visiting my dad. I arrived late here in this school, since my mother insisted I don’t go for the first few months of the school year.

I went to my first  class---Chemistry. I absolutely loathe this subject.

I saw that the room only had one girl sitting at the back, at the last chair of the last row. Yes, at the corner. She’s obviously a loner.

So me, being the faking-kindness-me, I sat beside the girl with eyeglasses and offered her a smile.

                “Hi, I’m Harry.”

---------END OF CHAPTER 2----------

And that’s where it all started.

                Haha! Belated Merry Christmas everyone.

Sorry this was short. This was like, the  just-getting-to-know part.
