CHAPTER 3

                HARRY’S POV:

“Hi, I’m Harry, what’s yours?” I tried talking to the blonde as she kept staring at the walls. Talk about weirdo. When she didn’t answer, I tried again, but still no answer. Is she deaf or something? Instead of trying again, I picked up my bag and transferred to another seat. Only me and the weirdo are in the room, and you could totally feel the awkward tension.

Finally, as time passed, more and more people enter the room. One guy sat behind me, and he was wearing eyeglasses also. He looks like the dude from Phineas and Ferb, Baljeet. Only with glasses.  He kept his head down as if he’s praying. And then another girl sat by the row of the two weirdos, and this time, the girl’s wearing braces. It makes so much sense now.

And finally after what felt like years, somebody sat beside me.

“Hi there. I’m Harry, I hope you could hear me though.” I chuckled as I introduced myself to the blonde with eyeglasses. She’s definitely an upgraded version of the girl at the back.

“Oh, h-hey, I’m E-Elle, nice m-meeting you.” She stuttered, but still offered a smile and reached out her hand for me to shake.

“So… why are you beside me and not with the other dudes with the eyeglasses, and braces?” I asked curiously.

“Well, I guess I’m different from them. I’m not a nerd, but I’m a bit of a loner.” She smiled shyly and looked down at her fingers.

“So.. tell me about your---“ I was cut off by the door being opened loudly, and students starting to yawn.

“Good morning, class.” A middle aged woman,--- with her hair tied in a very high bun (looks like a teletubby), her eyeglasses almost going to fall out of place, and her overly red lipstick--- greeted the room. Her voice sounded awful.

I could tell this would be one hell of a school year

ELLE’S POV.

Harry… Harry… the name sounded so familiar, but I couldn’t put a name to where  I heard the name. I tried to remember my old, forgotten classmates to check if I knew a Harry before… but no. I don’t remember any Harry’s there, but I definitely know I have heard a Harry name before.

“So, mind taking me on a tour?” A voice behind me asked, breaking me away from my thoughts.

                Speaking of the devil.

I turned around, and offered him a small smile. He was wearing skinny jeans, and gosh, I think his legs are better than any female’s legs, except Taylor Swift, of course. He’s also wearing a checkered red polo, which was buttoned halfway up his collarbones. Hot. Not.

“You done checking me out yet?”

“Oh, oh, oh, no. I wasn’t checking you out. And no, I wouldn’t mind to give you a tour.” I rambled, as I feel my heat surge into my cheeks. Hah, couldn’t this get more embarrassing?
