Chapter 9

Fighting Stirgio was easier than trying to escape Jace.
I managed to text Sydney our address before he took the phone and continued to pour alcohol into my cut, causing me to scream profanities.
"Jesus" Jace hissed when I snarled and clawed at his face.
"Stop that" I snapped
"Honestly, I've walked away from battles with less wounds" he snapped and pinned me down, trying to clean a cut on my back.
"Is that-" he laughed and I hissed, kicking him in his manhood.
"Stop that" I said
"Did you tattoo my name on your bra line?" He asked, smiling and I swatted him again.
I had tattooed his name under my left boob a couple months ago.
"Okay, I'll stop" he sighed and whipped blood off his face.
I grinned evilly and took the bottle.
"Your turn" I said and he scowled.
"You caused them. Give me that" he snapped and ropes shot out and pinned him to the bed.
"Nuh uh" I said and began cleaning his wounds.
"This reminds me of November 23rd 2012" he said and I rolled my eyes.
"You were stabbed, not scratched" I said
"And that didn't stop us from making love" he teased and laughed as my cheeks went bright red.
"You were naked and I healed your wound" I said
"Partially" he said and I looked up sharply
"You said it felt good as new" I said and he smirked
"I might have fibbed a little" he said and I rolled my eyes.
"So, I never asked, but how did a oh find me the club?" I asked
"I gave Sydney a panic button. She pressed it when you refused Rose's help" he said
"Sneaky witch" I muttered and he laughed
"So, why did you run?" He asked
"You deserve better, Jace. So much better" I sighed
"I don't, Nik. I love you and only you" he said
"You shouldn't" I whispered, closing my eyes and he hugged me.
"Whatever you feel guilty for, I forgive you" he said and I looked at him.
"You don't know" I said
"And I don't need to. Not yet. I love you" he said and I let him kiss me.
I'm so tired of pushing him away. Of pushing everyone away. I give in. I love him and I'm going to embrace it.
