On February 26 2020, both Mingyu and Mila posted photos to the Seventeen Instagram account of the 2 on a date, both photos with the caption '3 years ❤️'. The photo Mila posted seemed to be at a restaurant, while Mingyu posted a picture of Mila at a river. Mila admitted on VLive that she and Mingyu did in fact start dating on this date 3 years ago. Fans are in awh due to the fact that the 2 idols get to openly share their relationship and show their happiness together, which is not the case in most idol dating situations.
