Four Wheeled Rider- Going Seventeen

We all stood in a line in front of the karts as the producer explained the rules of the races.
"This is a team race, so the losing team will be cleaning your mini van." The producer says and we all laugh in disbelief.
"Do you see the rubber cone over there? Sprint, go around the cone and come back. The first 7 will be chosen." The producer says and everyone starts running. I arrive back 7th, just after mingyu and I barely make it into the team with mingyu, jihoon, Seungcheol, jeonghan, seokmin and soonyoung.

"The first 7 members will be one team." The producer says and we all huddle together and celebrate.

The first race is to get the water guns, but I don't participate in this race and stand on the side cheering my team on. The first speed race is Mingyu, Hoshi, Minghao, Joshua, Seungcheol and Seungkwan, and Soonyoung wins. The second race was Jeonghan, Jihoon, Vernon and Jun, and Vernon won that race.

The final race was me, Seokmin, Jihoon, Wonwoo and Chan. We all lined up at the starting line and waited for the signal to go for us to start.
As the pistol starts I immediately pedal as fast as I can and I speed ahead of everyone, with Wonwoo right behind me. I turn a corner and Wonwoo quickly over takes me. As we get to the 2 paths, I go the same way as chan and we both overtake Wonwoo. I pedal even faster and try to overtake him but I can't. We get to the finish line for the first time and Chan gets there just before me, with Jihoon right behind me. I try to pedal even faster for the second lap. Towards the middle I almost overtake Chan, but he steers in front of me and I bump into him slightly.

"Yah! Lee Chan just let me pass you!" I shout and he laughs.
"No! I want to win Mila." He shouts back as we arrive at the 2 paths once again and we go different ways. I end up overtaking him at the split path, but my legs begin to ache and I slow down slightly and Chan immediately overtakes. We get to the finish line with me right behind Chan as he wins.

"My legs hurt." I say as I stop a couple of meters away from the finish.
"You did well Mila." Soonyoung says high fiving me.

We then stand together and wait for the results. The boys then all start talking about video games, which to be honest I really had no idea what they were talking about, but I laughed along and pretended I did.

Then it was time for the results.

"In first place, Dino. His time was 1 minute 54 seconds." The producer says and everyone high fives chan.
"Second place is Mila. Her time was 1 minute 55 seconds, only 1 second behind Dino" The producer says and I do a celebratory dance.
"I think I found my new talent." I say.

They then say the results for everyone else:

Next was the item race. The race i had been looking forward to most.
The first race is Hoshi, Scoups, Wonwoo and The8. I stand by the first set of items with a water gun and wait for someone to get the 'mulpari'. Hoshi gets there first and he gets the mulpari and I immediately spray him with the water gun as he pedals away. Seungcheol also gets it so I start spraying him too. The other 2 get the banana item. The race ends and Hoshi won. The final race was me, Vernon, Dk, Mingyu and Dino.

The race starts and I immediately pedal ahead again with Mingyu right behind me. I get to the first set of items and get a booster, and Seungkwan runs to me and pushes my kart for 3 seconds, but mingyu also gets a booster and jeonghan pushes him, and we both become tied until mingyu overtakes. Seokmin then gets the barricade, which barricades both me and mingyu. Mingyu manages to get through quickly, but I struggle as they are quite close. I get through and try to catch up with mingyu as we come to another set of items. Mingyu gets mulpari and continues on, but I have to spin around 5 times before getting back on my kart which slows me down. I quickly get back on and runs to catch up. We then get to the final set of items of the lap and mingyu gets a booster, and I get mulpari. Minghao, Seungkwan, Jun and Joshua all run over to me with water guns and start spraying me. Seungkwan pours a whole bottle of water on my head.

"Yah! Stop! Who poured a bottle of water on my head!?" I shout and I finish the lap, still peddling as fast as I can to the next set of items. Mingyu gets a barricade but some of them start to spray him with water and he shouts slightly. But I arrive after him and get mulpari again. I sigh slightly before I'm attacked with water guns from everywhere.
"Why do I keep getting mulpari?!" I shout as I continue on. The next set of items I get the banana. I stop for the moment and try to eat the banana as quickly as possible. I put it all in my mouth and continue on as I eat and pedal at the same time. I then pass the barricade that mingyu got and got to the finish line a couple of seconds after mingyu. I get off my kart and lie on the floor.

"My legs really hurt again." I say as Seungcheol walks towards me and offers me a hand up. I take it and we walk towards everyone else.

Next is the consolation match. We had to park in the spot with a jigsaw blindfold on. I didn't do this match, but Seungkwan, Seungcheol, Joshua and Jeonghan, and Jeonghan cheated per usual, and Seungkwan tried copying him, but he failed and hit 3-4 cones.

The penultimate race was the finals, and it was me, Hoshi, Seungcheol, Mingyu and Jeonghan. I finished 4th and got one booster and the rest were mulpari. My hair was drenched by the end of it.

We then picked the people from the other team who would get the penalty. It was safe to say our team had won. They did Rock Paper Scissors and Seungkwan won and he ran around screaming in celebration. We then did a relay race to decide the 3 members who would actually clean the mini van. Joshua and Wonwoo stood by the starting line and the race began. Wonwoo being way ahead the whole time. Then it was Jun and Vernon, and Vernon managed to catch up to Jun as they stopped at the same set of items. Vernon then got sprayed with water by everyone as he picked up the item that Jeonghan had placed down. The final relay was Chan and Minghao, and Chan was mainly in front the whole time, and he got many mulpari's, making everyone else happy to spray him with the water guns. Minghao finished the race first, but he did cheat slightly, meaning his trio was disqualified and they had to clean the mini van.

Now it was the ceremony to see who won. 3rd place was Seungcheol, 2nd place was Soonyoung and 1st place was Mingyu.
"And also Jeonghan came 5th place and Mila came 4th." Someone says and stand next to Seungcheol on the floor and do a celebratory dance.
