On May 22, 2020, episode 4 of Seventeen's Hit The Road was released, as Mila's episode. During this episode, Carat's went crazy over the cute and real interaction between Mingyu and Mila. The interaction included Mingyu asking Mila "Mila are you ready? [to perform]" in which Mila nods in reply, seeming nervous and slightly off. Mingyu immediately notices this and asks, "are you okay, you don't seem like yourself." To which Mila replies, "yeah I'm just a bit nervous." and begins to walk away, only for Mingyu to engulf her in a hug and tell her "it's okay, everything will be okay," as he kisses her forehead.
This moment made everyone awh over how cute their relationship is and how much they care for eachother. In the comments, one fan wrote, "if I don't have a boyfriend who cares for me like mingyu cares for Mila, what's the point." Another fan wrote, "I'm so glad mingyu and Mila are able to openly show their relationship, cute moments like this are what we need!"
