Okay, here's where the drama increases. Warning: there are also gonna be some light swearing dirty jokes in this book because I feel like they're in freshman year of college, people at my high school constantly make swear or make jokes like that, and they probably would too if they were 18, be honest. (You're welcome Jay lol :p, don't have too much of a field day, which is aimed at all of you lmao ;)
Erica and Ashley's Dorm
UCLA
9:00 AM
Monday
October 4thErica's POV:
I went to Ben and Mike's dorm to talk to Ben. We usually walked to classes together since we had all the same classes somehow.I knocked on the door and Mike opened it. His hair was messed up and he looked like he just woke up.
"Hey Mike. Is Ben ready?"
"Oh uh he left early this morning for a walk. When he came back he was really upset. He thought about something for a while before falling asleep. He woke up a half an hour ago and left like 10 minutes ago. I assumed he was going to get you."
"Oh okay. I must have just missed him. You coming to computer programming?"
"Yeah I just slept in a little but I'll be there in a sec."
I went back to my room to see if Ben was there but there was no sign of him.
I decided to head to class and meet him there.
When I walked in I saw him sitting by Zoe and Mike. He had his air-pods in and was reading with a cup of coffee. I realized Mike must have came while I was looking for Ben.
"Hey guys." I smiled.
Mike nodded at me like 'hey,' but without words.
"Hey." Zoe said. "I thought you and Ben usually walked here together?"
"Me too." I agreed. "He probably just forgot and came early. Or needed to talk to someone early and didn't want to wake me."
"Probably."
And Ben didn't look up. I shrugged it off and sat next to him. I tapped his shoulder. He looked up at me, then back to his book. I took an air-pod out. He looked back up.
"Hey."
"Hey? I went to your room and Mike said you'd already left."
"Yeah I got an... early start and came straight here."
"And you didn't text me?"
"I don't have your number."
"You gave it to me when we went for a walk the first day. And then used it as an excuse last night. I texted you when you gave it to me. So you do."
"My phone died."
I took it from off the table in front of us and turned it on.
"It died huh?"
"I meant it was on silent."
I texted him a sec.
Ding.
"Try again."
"Whatever." He rolled his eyes and put his air-pod back in silently. He leaned back and crossed his arms.
"Oookay then."
I spent the entire class trying to talk to him but he just focused on the work and ignored me.
When we went to leave class and go work on our stuff free period he left without a word.
I knew our, and soon just his, friends knew the day it happened because I got to lunch like 10 minutes late and saw them all pretty much glare at me as I sat down.
