originally from france, the autumn loving girl left with her parents in the middle of the year after a traumatic incident and opted for a more quiet life in miyagi, away from the bustling paris.
a friendship with a boy turned into something ugly. something manipulating and ultimately, disgusting. it made her feel unsafe in the place she had grown up in, as rumors began to fly across the halls when she'd pushed away the male she once called her friend.
as a result, and to protect their daughter, yvette's parents took her out of school and brought her to where her mother's family is from.
having a high record at school, she had chosen seijoh to attend, as the school was rather private and said to be safe.
after the summer break, she would be placed in class 2-6 where she would befriend a girl named ellie, who moved at a younger age to japan.
along the way, she would meet her classmate's friends, some of them being boys.. which yvette would find a slight difficulty in interacting with. two of them backed off but a persistent ginger haired captain from the swim team.
she wasn't sure why he wanted to talk to her, wasn't certain why he went out of his way to make her feel safe and comfortable. she was scared, yet she felt he held no ill intentions.
the third year was cautious and slow, didn't stand too close but didn't stand so far either. he spoke in volumes that weren't so loud but also not too quiet either, and visited her everyday after hours at the greenhouse since she opted for closing up the garden to allow her club mates to go home.
again, she found herself uncertain as to why he went out of his way when it was dark and he surely had to be home like any other student. only, he argued that he didn't have someone to go home to, as a normal student would. and insisted a girl shouldn't be walking home alone, especially her.
yvette wasn't sure why akira kitagawa did all that he did for her. but she could slowly feel herself being pulled out of the darkness she'd been thrown into.. and could finally see daylight.
