You can skip if ya want. I just needa rant. I picked one of my books at random, and this was the winner so....... yeah.
Anyway. I am nonbinary. I'm very open about that and will politely correct people when they get it wrong. My parents on the other hand, they don't use my pronouns. Saying I'm trying to be special and draw attention to myself. So I bought a bunch of buttons with them they- Hold on let me just show ya-

This. And I love it. So I started wearing it daily, my parents still won't use my pronouns. But what angers me was what happened yesterday. My little sister and I were sitting downstairs, she is ten, and we were watching how to train your dragon. She is extremely sensitive. And she starts crying, I calm her down and she whimpers: "*Deadname*, will you start calling me your pet dragon" And I tell her no. Like a normal human. She starts crying, again, repeating the question. Until she get angry at me and yells "Your fucking useless!! I'm asking you to call me a dragon! It's the same as you asking us to use your stupid them/they pronouns" Ignoring the fact she said "fuck" I calmly explained the fact that she was asking to switch species, and that I was simply changing pronouns. I also mentioned the fact that she doesn't even USE my pronouns, none of my family dose. The little shit SLAPS me then storms upstairs. I followed her, she asked my parents to refer to her as a dragon, and I fully expected them to use the logic they used on me when I asked to use them/they pronouns. "Sweetheart, you were born human. You aren't a dragon. It's simple science" BUT NO!!! My mom knelt down and put a hand on my sisters shoulder and told her they would do it. I'm honestly not sure if they were just humouring her, but it's gone on for two days now. They call her by a dragon name and refer to her as "Their dragon" SHE'S TEN!!! Yet they've NEVER even attempted to use my correct pronouns!
I'm sorry, I just had to rant. I'll leave now. The next chapter will be an actual update.
