Part-7

Two and half months had been passed since  Shivaay left the mansion.  He came for only one day, on their baby shower. The next day, he again  flew to London .

Mallika has been  living  in her maternal house since last month.

Everyone was insisting him to  return as the  delivery  was near but he always made excuses of the business.

It was one fine morning , Mallika was pacing in the room. Annika was sleeping.

" Ann..ika, " whispered Mallika painfully.

" Di, please rest for sometime. Let me sleep, " Annika said smuggling  into  her  pillow.

" Annu, please  I'm  hungry, " she said standing  on her head.

" Ask mansi to bring today. Please I didn't  even sleep  during night because of study, " she told angrily.

Mallika  sighed and stared at her bump, where her baby  was continuously  troubling to make him eat something. The doctor had given the two days but she was already feeling contractions. These nine months were not less than a hell for her.

One, her husband was' nt  beside her in this whole period, secondly,  she was taking much  stress  about his   behaviour  which  was getting worse  day by day. Firstly, he don't  pick up  her calls and if by any chance  he would do, she will  always find him in hurry.

She stared at sleeping Annika in disappointment and then slowly  walked out of the room holding her bump.

" ahhhhhh..!!!! "

" Diiii, " Annika jolted  up  from bed when she heard a large shriek of her sister!!

She wore  her slippers  and ran out of the room.

" Diiii..!!!! " she shouted finding her laying on the floor, crying.

" Maaaa, Papa. Diii felll...!!! " she shouted running downstairs.

Pinky and Shakti heard Mallika's crying voice  followed  by Annika's shouting.

" Shakti jii, it's  Mallika  and Annika's voice, " she said worriedly and both of them rushed out of the room but  got shocked  to see the scenario in front of them.

Annika was sitting near Mallika helping  her to get  up but  she was continuously  crying  and shouting in the pain.

" Pinkyy, ask the driver to get the car ready fast.  Annu beta go and inform the Oberois. We have to rush for hospital right now. Hurry up, " Shakti shouted  and rushed to his daughter.

Pinky ran to inform the driver whereas   Shakti picked Mallika and rushed outside.

Annika had already left to inform the Oberois.

Hospital,

Mallika was immediately  admitted to emergency  ward. Though the delivery was normal earlier , but  because of falling down they were going for c-section. 

Worry  was evident on everyone's face as operation was on-going. One  top of that  Shivaay  wasn't  picking up the  calls.

Annika was standing numb in the corner. He wasn't  picking  up the  calls, she already  knows the reason. It is a normal day for him because he was informed  that delivery was in two days and he usually ignores family  calls.

"Maa, I will come. " Annika informed Pinky and left towards garden.

In the pasts three months, he didn't try to contact her again, neither he had came to meet her on the day of his departure to London.
