United Again (REYNICO fanfiction)

Rain

The dragon woman with deadly claws slashes again at Reyna's shield leaving a 3 mark claw. The rain makes her dark hair stick to her forehead making her version clouded.

Reyna pushes her off and she stabs her with the point of her spear, she gives a ear splitting hiss and returns to a pile of ashes. Her spear is covered in acid and she drops it as it melts.

Reyna looks around the wooded area that is not too far off from Camp Half-Blood.

Nico has just finishes slaying a hellhound more of his distaste and his eyes find Reyna she stares back and his eyes widen and his lips begin to form words when she fells a sharp pain from behind her. Reyna looks down and see 3 claw mark sticking out from her stomach.

She quickly grabs her sword and slashes the head off the monster with clean cut. She slumps to her knees and her hands go to where the pain is most intense.

"Reyna." Nico is at her side the rain has also made his black hair stick,"Let me see."

"It's nothing." She mangers but he slowly uncovers her hand which is soaked in blood along with her purple praetors cloak.

"Oh gods." Nico breathes.

"You have to make it back to Camp Half-Blood." Reyna winces as the rain starts to come more rapid,"Please Nico."

"Shut up you're going to make it." Nico scrambles for the nectar or ambrosia.

"No." Reyna places a bloodily hand over his.

"You expect me to just watch you die here?" Nico scoffs as Ivan approaches a layer of ash covering his purple Camp Jupiter shirt.

"It's for the best." Reyna chest starts to rise more slowly and she whispers, "I'm sorry Nico."

He whispers a few words that were a blur and as light surrounds Reyna and everything goes black.

Darkness.

It was the only word to describe it. The emptiness the loneliness of it all nearly killed her. This was worst then shadow travel. She felt as if she was awake feeling these things hearing people call out for her, but the other half feel asleep.

This wasn't the underworld for sure.

"The time has come my child." A woman's voice says and Reyna slowly comes to her sense.

"Mother?" She questions as she spins her head from left to right.

"A great darkness is approaching they will need you. For what? I can't foretell the fates will not allow me, but wake me child." Bellona voice says and Reyna slowly starts to be able to move again but not in darkness but in a place that is filled with lush green plants huge tress.

She wobbly stands on all fours and looks at the ground unable to keep her head up. She collapses and wills herself to keep her eyes open. She looks up at the orange sky just as the sun is about to set. But then darkness over powers her and she begins to close her eyes.

"Reyna?" A deep voice says just as she closes her eyes and her head slumps to the side.

Reynico is life, I just think they're so cute together. (No hate of the peeps who ship Will and Nico)
So yeah I hope you enjoy the story!
