You kept a straight face, silence engulfing both you and jungkook inside the car. Your fingers tapped at the steering wheel as you hummed over a random tune.
"You have a nice voice." Jungkook said, eyes staring over your flustered figure.
"I don't." you bluntly said. "I just hummed jeon. You complimented me like I did a whole concert already." you chuckled.
"Eh I don't need to hear you actually sing." he said. "I can tell already."
"Yeah okay keep living that dream of yours." you giggled. "We're here already." You said and stopped the car.
Jungkook glanced outside the window and gasped, eyes immediately enlarging over the sight in front of him. You giggled, stepping out of the car and walking towards the cliff.
He followed you, eyes shining as he stared in awe. "It's so pretty."
"Mhm." you whispered sitting down on the ground and sighing. "The view's more pretty at night so let's wait."
The view was indeed beautiful. You both were by the mountain and you can see the whole city up there.
"So this is what you wanted to show me?" jungkook asked, sitting down beside you.
"Yup. What do you think?" you smiled.
"It's beautiful." he said, looking straight at your eyes. "It's the first time I've been here."
No it's not.
"Really?" you painfully smiled and he nodded, a smile on his face.
"It's the first time I've seen you smile y/n-ah." he whispered and you look at him, tears brimming your eyes. "This place must mean a lot to you."
You looked away, a tear rolling down your cheek. "It does."
You stood up, trying to wipe your tears. Jungkook stood up in alert, noticing your tears.
"Y/N why—" as he held your wrist, you immediately turned, tip toeing and placing your lips on his.
He stood shocked, watching as you closed your eyes and kissed him. After pushing away his shock, he quickly held your waist and closed his eyes, kissing back.
You both parted, panting as you placed your forehead on his chest. Jungkook was confused. He didn't know why you were crying but he wanted to comfort you.
So hugged you and caressed your hair, softly whispering, "Shh, stop crying y/n."
"I love you." you whispered and he tensed before smiling and whispering back,
"I love you too."
