Lena rubbed her eyes as she slowly woke up on a cool, crisp, morning in the middle of winter.

She looked over to her nightstand and noticed an invitation she had gotten for the New Years Eve party at Jean's house.

"Shit, I didn't know that was today" She cursed and sat up in her bed.

She threw her legs over the side of the bed and went to the mirror looking at her reflection.

Her blonde hair was tangled into knots which she had soon brushed out and her breath had smelled of alcohol from the late Christmas party she went to the other night, which she had soon brushed her teeth and flossed.

Her blonde curls bounced down past her shoulders as she folder it back to finish brushing out the knots.

She slipped on some quick  work clothes and headed out the door with a piece of toast in her mouth for breakfast.

"Lena, where have you been? You know that the holidays are always busy around this type of morning!" Sighed her best friend and co-worker Armin who was working cashier for once.

"Sorry I'm late! Here, let me take over cashier and you make the coffees" She threw on her apron and threw her blonde curls back into a quick bun.

"Hello and welcome to The Senpai Club, what would you like on this cold winter morning?" She greeted.

"Just a decaf and maybe a muffin." The man shrugged.

"And please make it fast, I have to be at the office in 10 minutes..."

"No problem sir!" She smiled and handed him his food as he payed and left.

After a long day of work, Lena gave Armin a quick hug and had a quick drink before running off back home to change for the New Years Party.

She got changed into an ugly Green sweater for the Ugly sweater contest and a pair of Red Skinny Jeans with her hair pushed over to one side.

She rang to door bell and the horse Faced loser answered the door.

After Mikasa moved out of town, Jean needed a new female to fall head over heels for, and that female was Lena.

"Hey pretty girl" He winked and leaned against the doorway.

"Hi Pony Boy!" She gave a sarcastic greet and a wave.

"Playing hard to get huh?" He raised an eyebrow with an evil smirk.

"I would rather date a horse than date you"

"So I have a chance?"

"Haha no"

He gave a stern face and moved out of the way for Lena to get into his house.

She went in and people were dancing and doing shots and other fun stuff to do.

Suddenly, Reiner went up to her and handed her a full shot glass and started chanting as she drank the whole thing.

Things went blurry after a few more shots and she found her friend Marco.

When the clock was counting down to midnight, everyone started kissing, well everyone except for Lena and Marco.

They both shrugged and grabbed each other to kiss when the clock hit 12:00.

Everyone cheered Happy New Year as Lena and Marco still kept kissing.

When Lena woke up in the morning, it wasn't like any usual morning.

She had a pounding headache and wasn't in her usual bed, and wasn't alone.

She flickered her eyes open and felt a pair of cold arms wrapped around her warm body and a face buried into her shoulder.

"Your awake" She heard a smooth, calm voice whisper in her ear.

"Marco? You've been awake this whole time?"

"Yeah, I couldn't sleep." He sighed.

"Your breath, it doesnt smell like alcohol, you didnt-"

"Nope, Not once"

"So you were sober all last night?"

He just nodded his head and held her tighter.

"Its because I love you" He smiled and kissed her forehead.

She smirked as tears started to swell up in her eyes.

"I-I love you too" She mutted before rolling over and gazing into his eyes.

"I love you Marco"

She wrapped her arm around his neck and pulled him into a passionate kiss.
