{Archer's Pov}

"So you'll be ok?"

My mom asked and I gave her a stiff nod hoping she'll finally leave me be. My parents had just dropped me off at (F.C.C.) Future CEO's Conference. It's where all the big-time CEO's bring their successors so they learn the basics of running a company. I found no point in me being here. I knew all the basics, I knew all the ups and downs of running a company. I have been working with my dad since I was 19, and I'm 24 now. I was extremely frustrated with the predicament I was in. I was better than this. I was better than all these children who didn't know the first thing about running a company. But my father said it was compulsory to bring me here and that there was nothing he could do about it. 'I should just suck it up' he said. Thus the frustration. I sat with the others as we waited for the conference room to fill up. I saw a familiar face as he walked up to me,

"Pierre," I acknowledged his presence

"Archer," he nodded back

"Can you believe our parents sent us to this, this atrocity?"

Pierre was one of the very few people I conversed with, he and I have been friends since we were kids but that's mainly because our parents were business partners. I nodded in agreement at what he said.

"What are we still waiting for, why hasn't the conference started yet?"

Pierre yelled, he was never the patient type. As the host was about to answer a young lady lurched inside looking very amused

"Sorry I'm late, traffic," she said as she smiled sheepishly.

She wore a dark blue suit, had brown skin, jet black very curly looking hair, a cute face, and a curvy figure.

"Ah yes, miss Murphy, I was starting to wonder if you weren't joining us anymore." the host said. She just gave another sheepish smile.

"I think we're all here, let us begin." He turned on the projector and began showing us slides explaining why we were here,

"Excuse you?" Pierre motioned to the brown skin girl

"Is there a problem Mr Monet?" the host asked,

"Yes, yes there is clearly a problem."

"And what might that be sir?"

"What in God's name is she doing here?" Pierre yelled as he faced the dark-skinned girl who looked like she was about to burst out laughing

"This isn't some fashion show or some plaza, are you lost?"

The girl's amused grin twisted into a scowl as she stood up

"I'm not lost you arse. I'm here because I'm the heir to my dad's company. Or are you too stupid to understand that?"

"How dare you! Do you have the slightest idea of whom you're speaking to?"

"How dare you, do you have the slightest idea of whom you're speaking to?" she mimicked him in the most irritating voice ever "I have no idea who you are French boy and quite frankly, I don't care," she said obviously picking up on his French accent

"You bimbo I will have you sued, I will make sure you die of poverty." and all he got from her was her using her hand to imitate talking as she taunted him. By now Pierre red with anger, as he was about to retort but the host cut him off,

"Mr Monet, miss Murphy please comport yourselves. Mr Monet, miss Murphy is here as a representative for the Murphy Enterprises. Her father is Mr Chadwick Murphy."

By now the girl looked really smug "That's right bozo, I'm here, as a girl to own a big ass multi-billion-dollar company and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it," and then she sat down with a smirk,

Pierre sat down fuming in anger, clutching the arm of the chair he sat on. His face was red with anger, it seemed like he was about to erupt. It was quite an amusing sight as I tried to hold in my smile. Pierre glared at me as he noticed the almost-smile on my face which just increased my amusement,

"Well now that's been resolved, you may proceed," I said gesturing to the host,

"Of course Mr Conwell. In this program, we have exactly ten of you, nine males and one female. Each one of you is the successor to your parent's company, but we only accept the best of the best and in the age range of 21 to 25. We will show you what it means to be a CEO. How a CEO walks, talks, eat's, speaks, and more. We will give each of you jobs and office spaces to work, to ready you for the workload you're going to receive when CEO," I sighed in annoyance, I really didn't want to be here. I already knew all of that. I knew how to take on the workload, I had been doing it for 5 years.

"A Limo would come to pick you all up in exactly 10 mins. So in the meantime, I expect you all to introduce yourselves, socialize, talk business strategies, form partnerships et cetera " The host said before he walked out,

Pierre stood up and walked to the front of the table. There was a whiteboard with a black marker beside it. He picked up the marker and started sketching graphs and plans explaining why any of the other CEO's should decide to join his company. He was on a roll, making serious convincing points until a loud cough interrupted him,

"Is there a problem Miss Murphy," Pierre asked looking very very pissed off. He hates being interrupted.

"Actually yes there is a problem," she paused and Pierre looked at her impatiently,

"Well, what is it,"

"You didn't introduce yourself, the host clearly said you should introduce yourself. And I still have no idea who you are,"

Pierre gave a humourless laugh "I don't think I need to answer to the likes of you," he said as he glared at her which she countered with a mocking smile "What, can't accept that a girl was able to get in your little boy scout group," she said as she laughed,

"Yes, I can't accept it cause females can't run companies. You all let your emotions drive you either your angry, sad or happy. You think with your emotions,"

"Beats thinking with our dicks," she muttered under her breath. I don't think we were meant to hear it though,

Pierre clenched his fist in anger "You are not meant to be here, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so," he said as he looked at me obviously wanting me to back him up,

"I honestly don't care either way," I said,

That seemed to piss him off even more "I don't know how you got here, who you paid to get here or who's dick you sucked to get here-" he got cut off by a shoe came flying in his direction. He let out an unmanly shriek as he ducked,

"I will not stand here and allow you to insult me. I'm here because the people who run this organization saw potential in me. I'm here because I'm that good, I'm here because I'm as good if not better than all you idiots. So I did not bribe anyone, I did not threaten anyone and I especially did not suck anyone dick. So I'm gonna make this as simple as your brainless selves can understand. I do not care who you are or who your parents are or who your grandparents are, I will make sure my father and I ruin you if you so much as disrespect me." She took a deep breath obviously trying to calm her self "Let's go the car's here fools," I looked outside the window and noticed the car waiting for us,

"And someone pick up my shoe," she yelled as she walked out,

I looked at Pierre and saw him looking gobsmacked as someone ran to go get the shoe. I couldn't help the smirk that made its way to my face. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't impressed by her fiery attitude.
