Tryouts, lunch, and sleepover

I'm in the girl locker rooms changing when the coach comes in.

" Alright ladies cheer tryout will begin in 2 minutes so you better hustle " the coach said

" Oh and bye the way call me coach or Mulan. " Mulan said walking out

Ariel and I exchanged a glance and walked out.

Because it is a big class we go outside by the field and track for PE

It was a mixed class and I saw girls stretching and boys running.

" Alright ladies come over here if i call your name if your trying out for cheer"
Mulan said calling girls over in twos

" Elsa and Vanessa " Mulan said and we both went to her. We're the last ones to try out.

" So what can you girls do? " Mulan asked

" I'm an excellent flyer " Vanessa says going on and on

" Elsa what about you dear " Mulan says cutting of Vanessa

" I can be anything. A flyer or a base. And any stunt we need to do " I say trying not to sound like I'm bragging

" I will call out a stunt and you ladies will do them on the spot no taking turns. " Mulan says then says various stunts to do and I do each one perfect.

By the end Vanessa is gasping for air and I just stand there perfectly fine.

Since Mulan was also the martial arts teacher she only had 3 Pe classes and 4 martial arts. All the girls who signed up for cheer got excused from there regular classes to tryout.

" Ok ladies get out of your PE clothes and go to lunch. When lunch is over come back and your positions on the squad will be known. And not everyone makes the team. " Mulan said then dismissed us.

I walked into the building when I heard someone call my name.

" What's up jack? " I say when he's bedside me

" We're still on for lunch right? " jack said

" Wouldn't miss it for the world " I tease then go inside the girls locker rooms.

I got dressed and when i walked out jack was waiting for me then we walked to lunch together.

" I didn't see you in PE " I said

" Well everyone saw you. You were amazing " jack said

" What sport are you gonna do? " I ask him

" Football. I'm Captain. Well I hope I still am. " Jack says running his hands threw his hair

When we walk in everyone is staring at us but I ignore them and get in line for lunch but everyone in line moves for us and I look at him then shrug going to the head of the line with jack in front of me.

I get pizza, a chocolate milk shake, and a slice of cake.

I go to pay by the lady stopped me.

" This nice young man paid for your lunch dear " the lady said and I looked at jack smiling

" Thank you jack " I say as we sit at a deserted table in the cafeteria

" No prob snowflake " jack said leaning back in his chair

" So what do you wanna talk about " I say starting to eat my pizza.

Jack stares at me and I stare back

" What? " I finally ask

" Your the first girl I've ever seen not eat pizza with a fork " jack says
