(Your pov)

(WARNING!!!: BLOOD AND VIOLENCE!!)

"Gah!"

I just killed some thugs in the alleyway who tried to kidnap me and sell me to slavery, which was a mistake. Right now I'm holding one of the thug's head, covered in blood and was staring down at the last survivor that is scared shitless.

I grinned like a psychopath and crouched down at his level. "So, what should we do with this one?" I asked the head I was holding. " 'How about we kill him so there won't be any evidence.' " I use my finger to move the mouth of the head. The last survivor passed out and I sighed and shrugged.

"Ah, well. Might as well kill him." I said as I dropped the head and slit the unconscious guy's throat with my fingertips. I got up and left the alleyway and made the blood disappear from me. 'Now, time for me to meet Raphtalia.' I thought as I head to where Naofumi and Raphtalia are at.

(Timeskip)

I entered the bar and found Naofumi and Raphtalia at their own table. So, I went to their table. "Yo, Naofumi!" I greeted. Naofumi turned and his eyes widen a little. "(Y- Foreigner, what are you doing here?" He asked. "I came to see how you're doing, and it looks like you got yourself a companion." I said looking at Raphtalia which kinda made her shy.

"Hey! I don't bite. What's your name?" I asked her since I already know her name. Raphtalia seemed hesitant about it. "Oi. Say your name." Naofumi ordered her. Raphtalia nodded and looked up at me. "R-Raphtalia." She said. I smiled and patted her head. "That's a nice name. Nice to meet you, Raphtalia. You may call me the Foreigner." I said in a soft tone.  Raphtalia looked up at me and gave me a closed-eye smile.

Naofumi couldn't help but blush at the scene in front of him. 'K-Kawaii!' He thought with a blank face while blushing, but it quickly vanished. "So, Naofumi. What are your plans?" I asked him. "Getting Raphtalia a weapon to be my sword and to defend herself. She needs to learn." He said crossing his arms.

"Makes sense, but don't be too rough on her. I get that she needs to wield a sword, but she's still a child." I told him. "And also a heads up: if she levels up, you level up, too. Maybe it'll help her grow." I whispered to Naofumi. Naofumi looked at me with wide eyes and nodded.

I nodded back and turned towards the exit. "Be prepared for the First Wave, you and Raphtalia need to get stronger to protect a lot of people." I told as I exited the bar. 'Now, what to do next?' I thought.

A few days later

(2nd pov)

Here you are, sitting on a pile of dead corpses of criminals, bored out of your mind. You rest your head on your hand and sighed. 'This is it. The First Wave is coming soon.' You thought. 'Good thing I warmed up.' You stood up and jumped down from the pile and heading towards the where the Hour Glass is at.

While you were on your way, You accidentally bump into one of the fake heroes, Ren. You grimace a little, but didn't show it. "Oh, excuse me." You said to him. Ren eyes widen at you. "It's you! The woman that was watching me!" He said. You gave him a blank look. "Um, what? Do I know you?" You said. Ren was taken back at your words but he shook his head.

"Do you not recognize me?" He asked coming a little closer. "Should I?" You said. You notice him flinch at that and you guess that it hurt his pride. You inwardly smirk at his expression. "W-Well, I'm Amaki Ren. The Sword Hero." He introduced himself. You still held a blank expression. "Okay, and?" You said crossing your arms underneath your sleeves.

Ren furrowed his brows as you keep on hurting his pride. "Look, if you're heading to check the Hour Glass then it's best we be on our way there." You said turning and started walking. Ren blinked and followed you behind. "Hey! I have some questions!" He said as he walked beside you. You sighed and turned your head towards him, still walking. "What is it?" You asked him. He blushed at your beauty and turned his head away.
